Love these pens. It's bright color is perfect for taking notes and identify your notes. Its a comfortable fit for any hand and can be used for scrapbooks, drawing or just doodling. I keep these on my desk for me andy children

I tested all of the pens upon arrival. A few of them needed a little bit of effort to get them started. To do this I tapped the nib on my paper gently until the ink started flowing. All of the pens except for the red pen either started immediately or started after maybe a half a dozen taps. The red pen required a lot of taps but it finally started working. Once the ink started flowing all of the pens except for the red had a consistent flow. The red has gotten better with more use so I expect it to straighten out once all of the air bubbles are worked out. The construction seems decent for cheap pens. Like other reviews have stated the ink levels vary but that isn't a deal breaker for me since these pens are so cheap. I suspect that the ink flow issues are related to how these pens are stored. The design of the packaging encourages the ink to flow away from the tip. I have ordered similar pens before and storing them tip up encourages skipping. I expect them to work decently as long as they are not stored that way. I will update my review if anything changes. Edit: Storing the red pen in a cup overnight with the cap on and the point down fixed all of the skipping issues. Now all the the pens write beautifully!

Both yellows are not labeled, which is fine because most of the color names are not accurate. Super quick drying is a yes, so no smearing is a given. However, when put to the test it did bleed through the back of the paper and on to the next page, with minimal effort on my part. Smooth and long writing is a yes, and vibrant colors is a yes. Every color worked well, which is not always the case when you buy a set of pens. I would say this set is worth your cash.

I love love pens. I love to use rollerball, small point and these are perfect , they don’t leak/bleed either. I use pens all day at work and I journal a lot so these pens are perfect

I usually buy Pentel V5 ink pens and just purchase refills thereafter. I went back and forth on getting these pens because I thought they would be cheaply made or ink wouldn't free flow with the amount of charting I do at work. I'm a nurse and the needle point is great for charting in tiny spaces. For the price I thought what the hell, I'll try them and if they don't work me then I'll'll give them away to other staff who may not be as picky as I am! Well! The moment I pulled the first one out of the package I was immediately impressed with the sturdiness of the pen, and the packaging is so nice for keeping the other pens tucked away in my nursing bag. Smooth writing is an understatement! You don't even have to apply much pressure to put ink on the paper it is so free flowing and smooth. It dries almost instantly and there is absolutely no bleed either. I love this pen and threatened my co workers to keep their paws of my pen! I have given a couple away to a few coworkers and they love the pens too and had me share the product info right from Amazon so they can order! I will never buy another V5 pen again! This pen has surpassed my expectations and has dominated my pen fetish! A good pen is hard to find but I have definitely found my favorite and forever pen. Ordered these pens 3 separate times. 1st time, ink was leaking into the capped area and got all over my hands upon opening. The replacement, 3 of the pens wrote. The next replacement, none of the pens worked. Don't order. Ordered another brand and they all worked perfectly.

dk blue didn't work. had to fiddle with it a lot to get it to write at all. hit or miss. some write real nice and juicy. good Flo and other skip, not very wet. colors are nice range. I will still use of course but slightly disappointed overall. not total garbage tho.

Nice colors. Marker ends lush; fine tip excellent. Pay attention to type/ weight of paper for either tip.

Awful! Don’t bother! As soon as I got them, the pens would not write. I shook them, I kept them in a cup upside down and tried again, still wouldn’t work. The tips are so sharp that pushing any harder on the paper will perforate it. Find something else.

The second order is here. I really liked the first set I received and used it well, so I placed a second order. However, out of the five pens, two didn't work, so I had to discard them. I'm not sure how many more of the remaining pens might not work.

At first, I had a difficult time getting the ink to flow on several of them. I shook them a few times and lighty scribbled with them for a few minutes and they all work now. I was almost going to write them off, pun not intended, but it didn't take long to get them all to work. At the end of the day, they all work. I have a tiny pen addiction, so I'm happy to add them to my pen collection! Worth the purchase, I definitely recommend them. Happy scribbling!

I tried to find out where to reach out to the seller, but could not. These pens are GREAT! Except that in the pack there is one that does not work at all, and a few that have almost no ink in them. I don’t want to return them because I do like them, but annoyed that some don’t work and was hoping to reach out to the seller to see if anything could be done.
