Just put this ballast in my room with a 3100k Phillips Elite Agro bulb. Fires, and soft starts the bulb perfectly (bulb takes around 30 minutes to reach its full potential). It runs relatively cool, slightly warmer than a name brand CMH (with ballast attached), but much cooler than a 600watt hps would. And the spectrum of the 3100k is AMAZING. The girls love it. Adding more of these ASAP.Edit: added 1 more of these so far. No problems what so ever. I actually have name brand lec/cmh fixture that have worse foot prints than this one. HIGHLY recommended. In use for roughly a month with no problems. Beats out the phantom lec kit from hydro farm, which people have had all sort of problems with. Look at it's reviews and compare the price. You won't be disappointed.Will add videos or pictures after harvest.

Great light
315 is the way to go. Light works nicely. Plants responded Great. No heat. Have two in 5x5 highest temp goes is 81deg. With two osc. FansThe room has a temp of 72deg. I think vertical bulbs are better. Have 6inch fan now on dimmer low. Temps staying at 75. Plants are budding nicely aroma week sooner.

Check ebay first
4 stars due to that fact I found this same light on ebay, only on eBay you get hangers, ratchet ties and a bulb you don't get anything but the Light fixture from here, my advice check ebay you will get more for your money it seems as the eBay one was $10 cheaper too

Don't waste your money
It blew out a bulb in less than three hours. Ipomelo won't even reply when I asked them about specs or any other info on the ballast. I can't find it online. Returning this asap. Don't waste your money. I thought I did enough research and that odds would be in my favor. Now my grow is being set several days behind b/c this company is content on producing poor quality. They don't care about your time or money. Try any other company.

Poor Quality
Fixture failed after only 4 months of use. Ipomelo apparently doesn't warranty this product, and will not replace or refund me for the failed unit.
