I had my computer die on me without warning a while back. My 1TB SSD just died . . . device not detected error. Nothing that I tried could revive that drive. What a wakeup call . . . so I recently I bought this new backup program for my personal data, you know my photos, videos and of course my music collection.The program has somewhat of a basic approach with the Job Management screen as the program’s focus. I made separate jobs for my music, photos/videos, and my taxes . . . and with a quick glance I can see the progress and/or the status. I don’t think I will use all of these different ways they offer to back up my data or even look at the Migrate function. But who knows, it’s nice to know you have it if you need it.Pro: I like the visual Job Management screen.Con: I don’t like the navigation button style, but that’s just my personal preference.

I compared this product with Uranium Backup (UB). UB backed up my 225GB SSD in less than an hour. NTI was only 45% complete after 4 hours. I saw very little disk activity using the task manager/performance graphs with NTI. This software is too slow, even when using SSD drives.

I installed the trial and went ahead and ordered the full version because I was commissioning a new Hyper-V server I wanted to backup.I should have waited a few days to see how the backups would run because they didn't complete in a reasonable time. Maybe I had a setting wrong, but I have never needed to do much more than tell my backup software what I wanted to backup and where I wanted it backed up.It is sitting on my desk waiting for the time that I will toss it in the trashcan.

Don't like off site backups. This enables me to restore operating system and data at usb3 speeds instead of restore across internet service soeeds

Software out of the box would not load after numerous tries. Called customer service at VTI (the maker) and no one answered after 4 calls in two days, could not leave a message, called the corporate office, no answer after 3 calls. Contacted Amazon and they quickly authorized a return and received immediate credit.

Used this to do a full backup of my PC and put it on continuous backup, haven’t had any problems so far.

Purchased 5 computer license software. Loads just fine on all 4 computers. HOWEVER, after starting a backup task, never starts backing up and just sits there. Even downloaded the software from NTI and STILL will not work. NOT ready for prime time!
