Application is extremely easy, spray on, wipe off, and buff lightly. It gives the paint a noticeably slick finish and strong water beading almost immediately. The gloss is impressive for a spray product, especially considering how little effort it takes compared to a full ceramic coating process. CERAKOTE also markets it with a 50-wash durability claim and strong hydrophobic protection. What stands out most is how smooth the paint feels afterward. Dirt and water don’t stick nearly as much, and it definitely makes maintenance washes easier over time. It also doesn’t leave heavy streaking if applied correctly, which is a big plus on darker paint colors. The downside is that this is still a spray sealant, not a professional ceramic coating, so longevity won’t match high-end professional installs. Some users also mention the spray nozzle and durability could be better for the price. Pretty good product very very easy to apply. Has lasted several washes already don't think is as good as a high quality wax but for the short and mess free application could do it 2-4 times a year and good enough. Water beads nicely can feel the smoothness and car looks good and protected. Will buy more in the future

Tried using this and griots at the same time. I could not tell you the difference in the product but they both lasted a good amount of time, my vehicle is parked outside not garage kept. Easy to apply and decent scent.

Great product!! Made my car look brand new! Make sure you do one panel at a time, goes on easy and buffs to a deep shine!! Brought out the showroom shine and took off all water spots. Highly recommended for dark colored cars! It comes with 2 rags, I suggest using one for the spray and one for buffing, made the job easier!!

I’m getting older, and applying car wax and buffing and buffing is becoming more difficult. This stuff is amazing! You get 2 microfiber cloths and the Ceracote with a spray nozzle. I used small areas, and all you need to do is spray, take one cloth to spread evenly, and then use the other cloth to buff. But you don’t have to buff! It just wipes off, and the shine begins. I did my pickup with camper shell in about 35 minutes. And I wasn’t exhausted after. I noticed the areas I did first were getting shinier as time passed. In 2 hours it cures and my truck was showroom ready. This stuff lasts many washes and storms. The water just runs off. I also have enough left to do my truck again. A little goes a long way. Got this on sale, but even full price is worth the shine, durability, and literal lack of hard labor for a great shine. I’m a first time buyer and will never go back to paste waxes. Instructions are clear, because there’s no complicated let it set for a time before you break your back buffing. Just do sections, spray, spread evenly, wipe it off. Wonderful stuff!

I bought CERAKOTE twice now and use it continually because of the ease that it applies and the great shine that comes from using it. The best thing is nothing sticks to the car so when I wash the car everything seems to fall right off. Great product and I have recommended it to all of my friends.

I had moderate expectations going in, especially based on the promotional videos showing strong hydrophobic behavior and a near self-cleaning effect. In practice, it didn’t quite live up to that. For prep, I followed the recommended process and wiped the entire vehicle down with an alcohol solution to remove any existing wax or residue. After that step, the paint was completely stripped—very “raw”—and I could clearly see streaking and imperfections that had previously been masked. At that point, I actually expected the coating to perform well given the clean surface. FYI, cleaning and prepping takes a while and applying the coating needs to be wiped clear right away or it streaks. Applied this on a black Mercedes, which should make any hydrophobic performance very obvious. Water didn’t “sheet off” the way the videos suggest—it beaded somewhat, but not in a way that meaningfully reduced drying effort. After light rain or a wash, I still had to manually wipe the car to avoid spotting. More importantly, dust still accumulated pretty quickly. The surface didn’t stay noticeably cleaner, and whatever slickness it added wasn’t enough to reduce maintenance. I found myself wiping the car down just as often as before applying it. Did I get a lemon batch? What went wrong? Not terrible—but not something I’d rely on for real protection or maintenance reduction. Bottom line: even with proper prep, it adds a bit of gloss and minor water beading, but not to the level advertised. It didn’t reduce upkeep in any meaningful way, so the value proposition feels overstated.

After searching for a while I found this ceramic spray. I have used many brands. Before such as turtle wax, meguires etc but they are all expensive and don’t do much. I use this once a month after a proper detail and it lasts for a long time. I use it once a month although instructions suggest 12months. The coating is sticky so you have to be quick to apply and softly rub it on. Once on, it will give the car a nice shine and also prevent water, dirt and other gunk from sticking to the paint. You can go to a touchless car wash once every 2 weeks and all the dirt will come right off. Not sure how it compares to a $1500 ceramic coating job but this works for me and it does a great job. I cannot justify spending more when the car will get dirty anyway.

Selbst nach einem Regenschauer und anschließender Sonneneinstrahlung bleiben keine kalkhaltigen Rückstände zurück, die den Lack angreifen könnten. Pro-Tipp für die Anwendung Obwohl das Produkt bereits eine starke Performance bietet, zeigt die Erfahrung: Ein leichtes Nachpolieren nach dem Auftrag lohnt sich. Dies maximiert nicht nur den Spiegelglanz, sondern sorgt auch für ein gleichmäßigeres Oberflächenfinish und verstärkt den schützenden Effekt spürbar. Fazit Das CERAKOTE Ceramic Paint Sealant hält, was es verspricht. Wer Wert auf ein Fahrzeug legt, das bei jeder Witterung wie frisch aufbereitet aussieht und gleichzeitig den Pflegeaufwand minimieren möchte, kommt an dieser Versiegelung kaum vorbei. Perfetta!! Di facile applicazione, ti danno anche il panno. Dopo il lavaggio due spruzzi e poi si stende e toglie con il panno. Quando piove vedi la differenza con le altre auto. Perfetta!!
