Bought these to replace some old Home Depot red handle valves on my pool. These have a larger handle which makes it easier given the location on my pump. They installed easily, but after about 6 months, one of them failed and was extremely hard to turn. I ended up replacing them again with the same ones hoping it was a fluke issue. Hopefully it works longer than 6 months.

I received my AIPOR 1-1/2" PVC Ball Valve (2-Pack) Shut-Off Valve today. I Was concerned with some of the reviews I read about the fit, although the product specification stated made to fit PVS SCH 40 1 1/2" pipe, which is the pipe I purchased them for. My first impression was with the weight of the package/box. I thought these were too heavy to be my valves, but no, they were the valves. Fit was perfect for 1 1/2" PVC pipe, were heavy, and appeared to be made quite well; one of the biggest reasons I purchased them was for the easy turning handle; they did not disappoint, turned firmly but not ridiculous like many other valves. I still need to install one but do not anticipate any issues; I am thrilled with the purchase.
