Excellent item - quick delivery, easy to fit and works perfectly.

Firstly, they arrived faster than expected which was great as my boot door had been knocking me out for far too long! They are sent in a tube and do not come with instructions, although you don't really need instructions as they are so simple to fit (a quick Google search will help if you're new to this kind of thing). Each side took around one minute to fit and I'm really pleased with the results as the boot door now smoothly raises itself once the handle is released and of course, stays up securely. A little pressure is required to close it, but not excessive and it feels better than when the car was new - no exaggeration. If you need good quality, easy to fit boot struts, look no further.

My cars boot kept falling down, they wasn’t holding up anymore and have bumped my head a good few times, so I checked the reviews on this and looked up a YouTube video for how to replace them and it was so quick and easy, great quality and worth the money. They function well for the boot to close and open with ease without any sudden drops of the boot anymore which is what I needed! Will definitely be getting these again if needed!

Have needed to replace the struts since before Christmas.. tried some before from elsewhere but they didn't fit properly. Decided to try these before contacting the main dealer / garage. Rather not do that.. Arrived nice and quickly. Well packaged. The spring clips are not too stiff/hard to move slightly for fitting which is good. A terminal sized screwdriver did the job just fine. Slightly awkward to get the clips back in place once fitted but that is the common design, not these particular struts I think. The main cylinder is slightly shorter than the original, but this is ok as if it was longer (as I had before from elsewhere) then the boot wouldn't close and you may have a problem and damage something: the overall length of these is fine. I would always say place the new ones alongside the old (in place) ones before removal and fitting to see if they should fit. Saves a lot of cursing and faff. Fairly stiff to close the boot the first time but I would put that down to the 'newness' of them. It was easier the second and third time. Time will tell of lasting quality. Let's hope the noggin is bump free now for quite a while.

They were very easy to install and are now working perfectly. The original ones were very old and were just not able to keep the boot lid up especially in cold weather. I don’t think they ever worked as well as these new ones. Totally satisfied, excellent job just sorry I didn’t do it sooner!

Old struts were tired , tailgate had to be lifted to upright position but then dropped again leading to bumps on the head etc. New struts arrived promptly and very easy to fit. Took literally a few minutes and tailgate now opens perfectly with no effort to lift it and is held firmly in open position. Very pleased

Really happy with these, fitted myself in 5 mins (woman 40’s with a can do attitude) to my Mum’s 2011 Hyundai i10. Easy installation. Value for money and quality seems good. Great not to have the boot hitting my head anymore! Go for it - working great!

These non OEM tailgate struts replaced worn out items on a 2012 Hyundai i10. They were relatively easy to fit, only tool required is a medium size flat blade screwdriver. An assistant makes the job easier, who can hold tailgate open when fitting. Only been on a couple of weeks so unable to comment on longevity, but so far doing a good job of preventing the tailgate falling on my head when loading stuff into the boot.
