Brilliant!
The dehumidifier is easy to use and a great addition to cycle of washing and drying laundry. It has significantly reduced condensation from rooms when in use and most importantly it helps to dry machine washed clothes. I don't have access to drying clothes outside, so I have always dried clothes on clothes racks or use my dryer. My dryer is too expensive to use regularly so I bought this dehumidifier to help dry clothes. Clothes on drying racks usually take several days to dry in my house. But when I use this dehumidifier it can dry my clothes within 24hours. Sometimes it can dry clothes overnight. It always surprises how good it works and how much water it collects. Just to clarify, clothes are still placed on clothes racks, but I will turn the dehumidifier on I the same room as the clothes, close doors and windows in the room and leave the dehumidifier on. The dehumidifier is cheap to run. I hope to buy another one in the future, to use upstairs in bedrooms while my other dehumidifier dries my clothes.

Compact Floor Standing and Very Effective
I bought this specifically for my wood cabin office/workshop that persists with an average humidity of a high 60%, occasionally touching 70%. While this isn't particularly bad for the condition of the cabin or its contents that level of humidity can play havoc with my 3D printer filaments that are hydroscopic. I needed an effective dehumidifier that would work well in even the colder days!In its first use the Devola drew 2 Litres of water out of the air in 24 hours, as it brought the humidity level down from 67% to the 50% I set it to. It has an auto-shutoff for when the 2 Litre container is full, so there is no risk of overflowing onto the floor. . After emptying the Devola then ran for 48 hours before it once again filled its container with 2 Litres of water. Throughout this second period the humidity level was maintained around 50% (it will swing 3% either side of the set limit).WiFi and AppThis machine has built-in WiFi that allows it to work with the Smartlife app (and in turn Alexa and Google Assistant). Setting this up is simple, you will need to have the Smartlife app installed first. The instructions are in the supplied manual, but not too distinctly identified. They can be easy to miss. The App will tell you when the water reservoir is full, but you do have to go into the app to find out. The device does not seem to provide any push Notifications to the phone, however.Power Usage:The Devola consumes just over 2kWh of electricity daily when set to Auto mode where it will constantly maintain the set Humidity, turning itself On and Off as necessary. The Mode names in the App are different to that on the Devola itself, which can be a bit confusing at first. Conclusion:Yes, this is a splendid compact Dehumidifier that will handle quite large spaces. It is very effective and economical to run.

Great
Best thing I have bought for a while and easy to use. does well removing moisture. tank is adequate enough and it has a lid on it to stop it spilling when emptying. Value for money is good and does the same as the more expensive ones. its not really loud and you could easily sleep with it running but I have never felt the need. I just put it on for a few hours a day.

Noisy but effective
Yes this is noisy, measuring approx 65 decibels at normal use and not much quieter on the sleep mode. TBH calling it a sleep mode is actually a lie!Despite this though it works very well, and quickly brings down the moisture levels in the room. In a large bedroom it works and can feel the airflowing around the full room and actually helps to circulate any other heat such as from a radiator so while the dehumidifier does not produce a lot of heat, it does help the room to be hotter (better heated I guess). That said, if the room is cool, it can create a bit of a draft as the air flow is heavily increased.I would recommend this, but not if you want it left on while you sleep. Have now had this over a year, and still very pleased with the unit. I am slightly less sure about the clothes drying mode as seems to just operate in the same way and as it does not blow onto the clothing via moving vents, I'm a little unsure how effective it is

Great little machine!!
Purchased to use in our bedroom that unfortunately suffers with a degree of mould in one corner. The machine is simple to use, fairly quiet, easy to empty & was a good price, compared to other machines. We are already amazed by how much water it is collecting, so hopefully will help solve our problem. Very pleased with our purchase
