This beard kit works like magic! I cannot express what a difference this made for my husband. We have been searching and trying so many products to try and help with his dry/flaky skin. Box received with no damage, as we opened the gift box, everything was thrown in, caps off with visible leakage all over other products. Beard brush damaged as well. Everything sticky with no lids and half of product poured onto other items. Very disappointed.

Gift Kit for Men: $74.99 at the time of reviewI've worn a beard of one form or another since the day it grew in well enough to stay. Half of it is the fact that I just prefer the look and the other half is the fact that I just don't like to shave. But in all that time, I've never really been the "manicuring" type. I just trim it once a week and that seems to be good enough. However, my wife suggested I try some sort of beard balm or beard oil and so of course I turned to Amazon to find something. That's when I saw this kit. It has a great variety of beard care tonics so I figured if I'm going to try one, I might as well try them all!This kit really is intended as a gift and in that regard, it truly accelerates. All of the beard care balms and accessories are packaged in a faux alligator skin box which is itself packaged in a nice cardboard stripped box. Inside the gift box (almost) everything is nestled tightly in custom cut foam. I think if the box gets jostled around in shipping too much it's possible for some of the stuff to come out. One or two of the items were wrestled loose when I opened my package. However, nothing was damaged and everything looked great otherwise.As far as effectiveness goes, I really like the various beard balms and oils. It feels kind of fun to pamper my face. That having been said, it's something of a production. This is something that I might do to treat myself once a month or so. But I'm definitely not getting up every morning and doing this.The tools and accessories themselves are also very nice. I especially like the hard metal beard comb. It gets my beard straightened out and looking great. I just have a couple of minor nitpicks about the accessories. For the beard trimmer, I wish that there was a greater variety in adjusting the clipper length. I'm used to a specific link setting on my existing clippers (6mm) and it would be nice to be able to match this. The other thing that is a little bothersome is the stand for the clippers. The charge port is on the bottom (Thankfully it's a USB C, so I have numerous cables that will work with this). There is no way to accommodate fitting the charge cable into the stand. In my opinion, the stand is kind of useless. I'd rather just took the trimmer into a drawer then set it on the counter in a stand that doesn't charge it while it's sitting there.Overall, my minor knit picks on this kit are just that, minor. I think that this would make a great gift for somebody in your life who has a beard. It definitely stepped up my self beard care game. Well I think the price is a little bit on the high side, it kind of comes with the territory for this caliber of gift. Honestly I would probably give this 4.5 stars if I could. However, since Amazon doesn't allow half stars, I'm going to round up to five. I really like this kit and I think it's better than a 4. I would still probably order this over again just for the experience of total beard care that it offers.

This is really nice complete beard and body set. The beard hair trimmer isn’t the best, but works fine. It comes in a nice box that makes a great gift. It looks like a bespoke set. The products all work decently, and help to form a base for starting a care routine.

This is no ordinary beard trimmer! Well, to be clear, the trimmer itself is a fairly ordinary cordless/USB trimmer. What’s special is the level of extravagance with this gift set. The first thing you see (after you open the “gift box” inside the shipping carton) is the gorgeous briefcase-size faux-leather case. The case has a magnetic closure, another extravagant touch that makes the case simple to open and close. After the trimmer and its holder/stand, there are a few superior quality combs and brushes. A big oval beard brush appears to be wood with natural bristles; a small moustache comb in black metal; a hefty, two-sided beard comb. The kit also comes with six grooming products, such as body wash, beard butter, and moisturizer. These aren’t tiny samples; these are *full size* products in fancy brown bottles. In short, everything exceeds what you would reasonably expect for a beard trimmer gift kit.My one caveat is that the luxurious case is not practical for storing these items after you start to use them. The case is too nice to just throw away, so I think I might reconfigure it for storing something like art supplies.
