You can't judge comfort from reviews
I'm a software engineer and ignored wrist and forearm pain for almost a decade. Finally it got really bad so I had to take some steps to improve my condition. I purchased 5 vertical mouses, 1 of the more expensive ones and 4 cheaper ones, to see how they compare. My conclusion is that you just can't judge how a mouse will fit you from reviews. Even reviewers with small hands like mine, had opinions I wholly disagreed with. And I think it's because people use the mouse in a variety of ways. For example, some people rest their hand entirely on their mouse while others use a "floating" hand. Some anchor their wrist and move their hand, while others anchor their elbow and move their forearm. Some have small hands; but, wrist pads and wrist braces raise the wrist, cancelling the problem of (or even overcompensating for) small hands.Especially if you're like me and rest the entire weight of your hand and also anchor your wrist, you're not going to be happy with *any* vertical mouse *at first*, because your hand will feel like it's sagging down the mouse, and when you try to unsag your hand the mouse will feel insecure because you're unanchored your wrist. (This is where the cushion of a wrist brace helped immensely. After 2 weeks I was able to use the mouse even without the wrist brace. But man, did I hate all 5 mouses at first.)Anyway, moral of the story: Bite the bullet and purchase a few mouses. $150 gets you 1 quality mouse and 1 or 2 cheaper ones. Here's a wrist brace I love because it's not plastic-stiff (no affiliation whatsoever): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072392YGD.Here are the products I compared:- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073B12MS6 (Jelly Comb)- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RK96WF8 (VicTsing)- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BIFNTMC (Anker)- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BFCVJZC (Lekvey)- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FNJB8TT (Logitech MX)Miscellaenous:- There's a reason I didn't try the famous Evoluent VM4R. The updated model is getting flack for not living up to its predecessor, and its predecessor apparently hasn't shipped a driver for Mac OSX Catalina, which is what I'm on.- The Anker and Lekvey have exactly the same chassis (and therefore size). The Anker is battery powered while the Levkey is charged. The VicTsing is slightly larger than those. The Jelly Comb is significantly smaller than any of them.- See photo attached for comparisons of things like click and scrollwheel feel.

Hurt my small hand - Tiny lady hand
I have very small female hands. This is described as ergonomic but after using this mouse for a in a single day, it started to hurt my hand. I've never had hand pain before. It may be sloped too steep. Plus it fit awkwardly in between my thumb and index finger, it doesn't "fit" my hand.Like that it was smooth and battery operated just can't use it for the intended purpose of being ergonomic. My woman hand measures: Palm just under 3 inches tall at the middle finger by 2.5 inches wide. Pointer finger is 2.5 inches long

Really Comfortable Ergonomic Mouse
For the sake of transparency, I was provided this product at no cost in return for a fair and honest review. Now that we have that part taken care of... here are my fair and honest thoughts:I've recently been using a Jelly Comb keyboard and mouse combo, but have been finding the included mouse to be less of a perfect match for me with my long hours at the computer. I was more than happy to agree to trying out an "ergonomic" option. The mouse arrived first thing on the 2nd day after the order (thank you very much, Prime shipping benefits) packaged in a plain brown box with simple branding. This is just fine with me, as I didn't find it on a store shelf vying for my attention. Personally, I find it really odd when primarily internet-based production companies send things along in really flashy packaging. That extra cost could easily be saved, like with this one, and passed on to benefit the consumer. The contents of the box are equally Spartan in approach. Again, I'm fine with this because, at this point in time, I'm concerned for you if you need much in the way of instructions for plugging in and using a wireless mouse. On to the device, itself. The mouse is really impressive-looking and feeling for such an inexpensive option. The top of is coated in a really nice matte, rubberized surface. It just feels comfortable under your hand and fingers and doesn't get slippery if you have clammy hands, as simple plastic mice tend to end up getting. The only thing on the top of the mouse which is not this matte finish are the dedicated forward and back buttons above the thumb indentation (I'll get to these later). Something also very unique about this mouse, and other mice from Jelly Comb, is their nearly silent mouse clicks. It's almost disconcerting just how quiet the clicks are, though they do feel solid and precise. I've honestly never used a mouse that was this silent outside of another Jelly Comb mouse. Another bonus was an equally silent scroll wheel and wheel click. This wasn't the case with my previous Jelly Comb mouse. Overall, just a really good feel and execution of essential mouse functions. Finally, on to this mouse's raison d'etre (reason for existing). Jelly Comb calls it a vertical mouse, which I guess is a reasonable first impression of its design. What they've really gone for here is a much more ergonomic approach to using a mouse where your wrist isn't forced into a position parallel with the desk. Instead, your wrist can remained in a more natural, perpendicular position (see the pictures in the listing) Spoiler: they did a very good job of it. Because of this ergonomic shape, that means this mouse can only be used with the right hand. Not sure if they have a version for lefties, but I think they should definitely consider it, if not. It look me about a day of full use to get used to this new shape, but I immediately felt the difference on the top of my wrist. If for no other reason, they succeeded in their goal with that simply angle change. Once I found the best way for the mouse to fit into my hand, things started feeling much more natural. Because we're talking about decades of standard mouse use vs. a few days of time with this one, I'd say that's a really good and quick adjustment. If I had one complaint about this mouse, it would be the aforementioned dedicated forward and back buttons. This mouse is comfortable, well-made, and functions nearly silently. Except for those two buttons. They're the only ones made out of the standard glossy plastic, and they're the only non-silent clicks. They come across as an afterthought, which is sad, because everything else is so clean and clearly well-thought-out. I only mention this because they do stick out and are the only blemish on an otherwise-flawless mouse experience. To me, though, this is not enough to deduct a star. They are non-critical pieces, and are truly a nice added touch. They're well-placed and don't actually interrupt any bit of the mouse's functionality. Additionally, Jelly Comb does not actually market or bill this mouse as a silent mouse. Docking stars for something they don't claim is not a fair evaluation. I mention these buttons and their finishes merely as a way to suggest future improvement. Making them as quiet and rubberized like the rest of the mouse would easily make it one of the most comfortable on the market - especially for its low price!TL;DRPros:Very comfortable ergonomic design (once you've re-adjusted)Incredibly solid and high-end finish for the priceSurprisingly (mostly) silent operationsLight and generally compactCon:Forward/Back button execution feel like an afterthought

Works great out of the box; nice features.
Very happy with the mouse. This is my first time using a vertical mouse, so it took some getting used to, but I'm now loving it for my main tasks, which are word processing, making presentations, and web surfing. Some features you may want to know: The USB dongle can be stored inside the battery compartment; this does require you to open the door to get to it, but since it's a mini dongle I just leave it inserted into my laptop all the time without fear of breaking it off. The DPI is adjustable with the click of a button, which is useful and a nice touch. The mouse is pretty lightweight, which for me makes it easier to use, but I think the weight is one of those things that's up to user preference. For the record, I weighed the mouse at 80g on my kitchen scale, whereas I have another mouse made by a company beginning with the letter "L" who weighs in at 68g.... BUT the Jelly Comb takes just one AA battery whereas my other particular mouse takes two (a Duracell is about 24g each). Lastly, the mouse works without any hiccups... plug n play, no lag, no loss of connectivity. I am running Windows 7 and Windows 10 on my laptops. I have not tested it on my Ubuntu but will update the review if there are any problems with it.

Good product, super built and quality but...
Keys are silent when clicked. Built is good.It is ergonomic BUT if u have medium or large palm and specifically looking for ergonomic mouse due to any pain or so, may be prefer Anker over Jelly Comb.I felt like my muscle group under my thumb stresses a bit while using it for more than 1 hour.HOWEVER,PERFECT FIT & ERGONOMIC FOR small to medium palm size or if you are looking just for a decent mouse at a great price. It can be a good ergonomic mouse for people with small or medium hands.OVERALL, I returned it as I (large palm) was not getting great ergonomic benefit but the built and quality was superb.

My jellycomb mouse stopped working today - 10 days after it was delivered
On the recommendation of a doctor friend who was big on ergonomics in the workplace I splurged 5000 bucks on this wireless vertical mouse from Jellycomb. I was very happy with it till today morning when it completely stopped working !!!! Does anyone else have this problem and how does one get a resolution for it. We buy electronic products on Amazon because we trust the amazon brand - but what happens when products just stop working, who takes responsibility for it. Am very disappointed with the product

Love it
I had pain and a bump on my hand from constant scrolling with a regular wired mouse and this has saved my hand. With in a couple of days the pain had lessened and now several months later is completely gone. This one is purchased as a gift for a colleague who also has a sore hand from using a regular mouse. It is easy to use and I adapted to it very quickly, within a few minutes. Will not go back to regular mouse and highly recommend this product.

So far so good.
Got this mouse because my other one was hurting my palm/wrist area. I was looking for a fully ergonomic style but those seem to be much more expensive so I compromised and got this one. The mouse works well. No issue with lag or connection. Been using it 3-4 months now. The pain in my wrist is gone however if I have a very long day I need to focus more on keeping my hand in the correct position to stop my hand from touching the table. If it were a fully vertical mouse I don't think that would be an issue but with this one I do find sometimes you have to ensure you are placing your hand in the correct position or you can still have pain. Overall though quite happy with it.

fits but slips and lags
This mouse fits my hand well (small) but I find that the scroller won't scroll unless I push on it a bit. However, when I push on it too hard, then it starts scrolling by itself....frustrating. It's like there is no grip on the scroller wheel. It also lags quite a bit. Especially when I sit down at the computer first thing in the morning. Sometimes I have to go into my bluetooth and uninstall it and re-install it to make it work.Due to all this, I am moving it to my spare computer and purchasing a different one. Too bad!
