I was surprised by the ability to make nice thick and thin lines with this pen. The pen makes thin lines easier. The only draw back I find is that between the thickest and thinnest pen pressure, it seems to not be as even of a change as it could be. I bought two different pens, then found my surface pen and I actually like this one better than my surface pen when inking.

This is a great stylus for my surface pro. There are times when I’m working on data entry and need to click quickly through things, it’s much more convenient for me to use the stylus pen. Note taking and making list are also easier to do when using the stylus- in my opinion.I do at times have trouble with right clicking and will end up having to use my mouse. But otherwise a very solid item!

When the pen works its great, but it will stop working in use. It's useless don't buy.

It works good

I got this pen as a replacement for the Microsoft pen that came with a Surface Pro bundle. That one had been misplaced and was presumed lost. It eventually did turn up again, enabling comparison. As you can see in the accompanying photo, this one is about 0.7" longer and just a smidge narrower. The tips appear to be essentially identical. They both write and draw very smoothly. This one has slightly better pressure sensitivity. This shows up when making thin strokes with very low pressure. This one produces continuous lines while the Microsoft pen skips. This one has a wire mesh on the eraser end and lacks the function button there. While it can be stored by magnetically attaching to the Surface Pro, it does not charge that way. Instead, it must be connected to a USB C cable and charger. The list price for this one is a little less than the Microsoft pen, but it matters a great deal who the vendor is for that one.
