Brilliant
I bought this for my nephew who should be able to use it properly by the end of this year (he's not quite 2 yet). He has already been playing with the book pal and my brother and his wife have found the whole concept to be brilliant. They are also going to use it for their neice who is potentially dyslexic, to see if it helps her with her learning. They found it very easy to download what they needed to for the books and altogether have found it a simple and responsive learning tool. Highly recommend.

I am so pleased with these Leap Frog readers
I am so pleased with these Leap Frog readers. I think its fantastic the way they work. My Grand Daughter is only 2 so hasn't quite got the concept of rolling Scout pup over the page and letting pup read the story. She likes putting it on objects and Pup telling her what they are and I'm sure with practice she will soon get the concept. Its a great fun way to introduce children to books and reading.

Book that comes with it is NOT Scout and Friends
My son has yet to use this toy as I have purchased it for Christmas but I have opened it up to set it up for him. It looks really good but one thing to note is that on Amazon's website it states that the book that comes with this is "Scout and friends", it is not, the book that comes with it is "Explore Tag Junior", which whilst interactive is more of an advert for all the books that you can buy, each double page advertises a different book.I contacted Amazon and they sent out a replacement to see if it was a mistake but the replacement had the same book in it. The packaging is misleading and looking at it you would think that "Scout and Friends" came with it, unless you read the tiny writing stating what is included, so I can understand how Amazon made this mistake. I tried to explain this to one of the customer service advisers but they didn't understand what I was trying to say so I suspect the website details will not be changed.

better than expected
This works very well, better than expected. It was used and I'll need to figure out how to reset some parts of it, but the recipient is delighted with it even though he's only two years old.
