Let me just say, Paige did some phenomenal work on this. There are a lot of products out there that are just for profit and money grab copy paste concepts where every page and or chapter is basically the same thing repeated. This book is NOT that type stuff of purchase. From the get go out of the box you can feel the home crafted goodness of this unique indie style craft. It really scratches that folk lore, mythical feel and makes building your story very dynamic with different graphics and concepts around every corner. Quality of the actual book itself is great. Thick paper back cover and thick pages that feel sturdy, roughly about an inch or so thick altogether sitting down on a shelf. The actual size of the book surprised me, it's very large paper, not typical journal style, but I like that. It's easier to read, follow and allows more room that is surely used by Paige to deliver compelling commentary or graphics. Would purchase again and would recommend if you're interested in trying to story build, character develop and build a narrative.

This novel planner is excellent! It is pretty, thorough, and adorable. I love how much the author dives into creating your characters, it really helps you flesh them out answering all the questions! Making the magic system and culture, etc; it is all so detailed! I love having everything I need in one book. It is so pretty too! I would definitely recommend this! There are a few cons that I want to warn you about though, which is why I docked it one star. 1. The book is very "homemade", so a decent amount of spelling errors and too many spaces between words and such, which can make you question the credibility, but if you can look past that, this author has some great insights! 2. This book would be very difficult to use without the accompanying "recipe" book of terms and such that she uses in the book. A well established author would probably have no problem, but as a newbie I was confused with some terms until I looked it up in the "recipe" book I purchased separately from this same author. 3. Lastly, I bought this "high" version of fantasy and the "light" version as well, as I wanted to see the difference. I was surprised that the only differences were the pictures inside, and about 2 or 3 section that were added. Everything else is exactly the same. So more just a different aesthetic than a different book. With that said, I would still highly recommend this book as it is really one of a kind, and I haven't seen any others like it!

I am definitely easily distracted, especially from my writing because I will find inspiration randomly and get sidetracked. This book is the most amazing writing companion I have found. Whether you have a hard time organizing your thoughts or you're just starting out this book is amazing and I highly recommend! Finding a way to help me organize my ideas has been so difficult but this book is designed perfectly to teach you how to get from beginning to end and how to organize your thoughts along the way, including helping you streamline a plot and story basics all the way to world building with your characters and other mechanisms within the world such as magic, any mystical creatures and chapter outlines... Seriously though, if you are like me and you have a hard time organizing or you find yourself constantly coming up with new things this is absolutely the perfect book I cannot recommend it more!

I purchased this for my daughter who loves to write. In looking for writing workbooks for story building, not being able to see inside the book makes it hard to know what you’re getting. This was exactly what I was hoping for. It’s a great resource for getting thoughts organized on paper with gentle, well thought out guidance.

I wish the ad showed more of what you’re buying because it can be a gamble on Amazon but this one paid off. It was the perfect gift for my hobby writing mom !

This is a great planner, far better and more well- organized and easy to use than the several others I have tried. I suggest you make this your go-to.

This planner is quite large. I put it in comparison to an A5 notebook. I was expecting something journal sized which I could carry easily with me. The paper quality is also really low. You can see through the pages. And if you write in it I expect that you would see pen. The content seems really well thought out. I like that almost every page has something useful on it. I really want to like this, but the flaws might bother me too much to use it.

Storyfolk makes the BEST novel planners, hands down. Organized, easy to follow, and extremely aesthetically pleasing. I’ve purchased three so far and plan to keep using them to draft my new novels.

This is awesome! I've had a million ideas bouncing around my head for years and yet never written anything. This has enabled me to get my ideas down in a way that makes sense and I can easily look to! My partner bought this book last week and I had to get one for myself. I've shared with my sister's and they will be purchasing too!

I would highly recommend this book to any writer. It's incredibly organized, and you'll find almost all the themes and important topics in it. It really helps you develop your ideas into a story and get started in a structured way. The only theme missing is the different peoples in your story. For example, I have dwarves, elves, and other peoples, each with their own extensive version of magic, language, and culture. But otherwise, everything is covered, from your storyline and chapters to magic and villains, and even self-publishing your book.
