National Geographic Kids Ultimate Space Atlas is a perfect addition to our homeschool library
My daughter loves science and especially loves learning about space. My son loves pointing out any moons and stars that he sees in the pages of books and in the sky. National Geographic Kids Ultimate Space Atlas is a perfect addition to our homeschool library. Although written for slightly older readers, the book appeals to my first grader. She loves flipping through the pages to look at the pictures and read the information. The non-fiction title provides a perfect reference book for future space and solar system unit studies!

Great way to strengthen reading skills
This is a top-notch science book for kids who want more than the basics. There's a lot of reading, but it's the fun kind. An interesting array of text features such as captions, sidebars, and word play makes this book an exciting read. Readers also use skills such as interpreting a map of the sky (complete with a map key). I can't wait to see my students enjoy this book! I received this book from the publisher. Opinions shared are mine.

Pretty dull
We use National Geographic Kids books in our homeschool a lot and always enjoy them, so when we needed to learn about space I thought this would be great for my 11 year old son. He was bored to tears and honestly I was too. I would recommend skipping this one.
