So much easier than going to a piercer. I have used this twice for my second and thirds holes and I plan on using it again. Very easy to use and painless. Mine healed very nicely also. I make sure to use the little marker they give you to mark out where I want the piercings to be and then i take the gun and and put my ear in it and its a simple squeeze and you're done! So worth it!

I have always wanted double piercing, but always put it off due to how inconvenient it was. When I found these kits online and realized I could do it myself, I was skeptical and nervous, but figured it was worth a try! I did it myself, and It was so insanely easy. The earring sticks out a little out of the tool so you can easy line up exactly where you want to pierce. Memories as a child from getting it done at Claire’s with one of those guns was very unpleasant and painful, but this gadget really didn’t hurt at all. I would compare the pain to a small pinch, and I didn’t even numb the area. My ears are very sensitive to certain earrings, but these don’t bother them at all so they must be a good material. I really haven’t had any pain or irritation since and the round backing makes it easy to sleep on my side without it bothering me. I did pour some rubbing alcohol over the gun and earring just to be safe. Just make sure to push firmly and hold it there a second. I got a little nervous the second piercing I did, I don’t think it pinched it long or hard enough cause it didn’t go all the way through, but it did go most of the way, so I was able to give it a little push and got it all the way through my ear, honestly it didn’t hurt much. Overall, I absolutely love them, they turned out great, so proud of them!

I had low expectations only because I’ve never used something like this before. I have pierced myself and other people (good old teenage years) so I am not new to doing this, but I was still apprehensive. I used the product the same day it was delivered. I cleaned the area with the included alcohol cloth, saw that the earrings were already inserted in the devices and ready to use, so I used the pen to mark where I wanted the holes to be. After that it was a very simple process. I made sure the earring would go where I marked, and just gently pressed. The other side was much easier. The pain just feels like a quick pinch and then it went away. Aftercare is the most important part, so I would recommend getting some piercing cleaner, as well as sea salt for keeping the area clean while it heals. I pierced my helix myself a few months ago and feel like it would have been so much easier with this tool. I’ll definitely be doing more piercings myself. Update 2025: I just used these once more to add another piercing on each ear. I absolutely love this thing!

The earrings feel right out my baby ears and caused one ear to get infected due to the cheap earring.

My daughter absolutely does not sit still or like being near strangers. Taking her to get her ears pierced was out of the question. I'm decently familiar with piercings and their care so I decided to order this kit and just do it myself. Everything was super easy to use. I did one ear towards the end of nap time and while unpleasantly surprised by her pinchy wake up, there was maybe 2 mins of fussing and it was done. I did the other ear a few days after, same thing. They are healing great and don't seem to be a bother at all, even when she lays on her side. My only complaint is that the backs are turning colors a little, but since I plan on switching these out anyway, it isn't a big deal.

Painless according to my 12 year old. Very little pain whilst healing and haven’t had any issues at all I like the flat backs rather than butterflies - they were what caused the most issues on her first ear piercings.
