InfiRay T2 Pro Thermal Monocular for iPhone, Outdoor Night Vision Monocular, 25Hz Frame Rate, 13mm Focal Length, 13.6X10.2 FOV, Hot Spot Tracking

This camera has been amazing! I get a much higher quality image (with a larger screen considering it's on my phone) than a FLIR. I use this when I go backpacking with my family. The image quality picked up on this camera easily rivals $1000 thermal imagers I see elsewhere. I Highly recommend!The controls are easy to figure out (got everything figured out in 5 minutes). Easy to record and the auto-tracking heat signature tracker is awesome when it comes to scanning the wood-line. It makes it very simple to distinguish the difference between anything ambient v. living.

Better than expected. I should’ve gotten the one for the android due to the fact that my iPhone takes the C port. I ended up buying extra adapters for it.

I initially planned to write a positive review, but unfortunately, the camera appears to be dead on arrival. I tested it with two different phones, a Samsung and a Motorola, both with OTG mode enabled, but the app failed to connect to the camera on either device. Additionally, there is no phone support available for this brand.I’m considering giving them another chance by exchanging the camera to see if a replacement works. If it does, I will update my review accordingly.

My friend has a $6k thermal binocular and I didn't want to spend that amount of money. This came in at around 400 and that was what I was looking for. I'm using it with my Samsung Note 20 Ultra and it works great. No connection issues and the images are as good has his 6k but I don't have the ridiculous range he does. Then again, I don't need to see a mouse at 800 yards. I can see mice at 200 yards and that's fine.So far I've used it around the house to confirm my 5 chest freezers are working (can see the coils glowing), what critters are 150 feet away at my chicken coop at night (coons, mice, and opossums), and coyotes and deer out in the field across the street. Apart from real needs for it I find it's just a blast to play with.Some things of note:1) with my UAG case on my phone I can't plug the sensor directly into my charging port. No problem as I find the hand-held 'holder' more than functional.2) I'm glad the Android app allows for 180 degree rotation of the image as mine was initially upside-down because of how I orient my phone.3) overall the app is good and does what it needs to do.4) I found that my 10-foot USB-C extension cable works so I can prop the thermal up on a table and sit a distance away. When I want to see what made the noise out in the dark I just switch from YouTube or whatever I'm watching back to the app and boom... the camera's image is on the screen.In all, I have no complaints about this. I have not noticed any additional battery drain and it has never crashed.I recommend this : - )

The T2 Pro is a fantastic concept and offers a much cheaper alternative to a full-fledged thermal monocular with similar features, which would easily cost twice as much. The image quality is excellent, and it performs well for its price.However, there are a few drawbacks that hold it back. Using the included handle with my phone felt cumbersome. Holding my phone in one hand and operating the device isn’t as ergonomic as I hoped. I also tried mounting it on my camera, but my phone felt too bulky in this setup. Personally, I’d much prefer a standalone monocular that I could easily mount on my vest.The most disappointing part is the lack of proper app support. The app available on the Google Play Store doesn’t even recognize the device, which is a major oversight. I had to hunt down an old APK to get it working, which is far from ideal. It seems the company needs to invest more effort into refining their software and ensuring smoother usability.Overall, it’s a great device for what it offers, but better app support and a more ergonomic design would make it an even better product. I'd recommend this product for home use.

If you have shopped Monoculars you know just how much they can cost. This seems to be a great product for the price point. Really easy to use the app as well. There are several modes that you can cycle through to change the image output. Easy to zoom in and out and even record videos. I'm excited to use this out in the woods!

So I've had the FLIR and the Seek (would constantly fail after about 6 months) for my phone and I have a full truck mounted FLIR ($20K) to compare with and this InfiRay is really an excellent product. The auto gain and image is very crisp and actually rivals the $20k truck mount in picture quality but obviously doesn't have all the bells and whistles like remote control gimbal, auto stabilization, data overlay, PC interface etc. The app works well and doesn't crash. It's far superior to the Seek or FLIR. The angle of view is narrow so it's better for things further away and isn't really well suited for walking around in the dark and the with the narrow view you may trip over stuff or walk into a branch. But most of the phone mounted thermal cameras are pretty narrow. In the picture above I was about 150 yards from the subjects in pitch black. My truck mounted FLIR is much wider and I can see a wider view and even drive in the dark. But when I see something of interest, I then use the InfiRay to get more zoomed in detail. It's more expensive than the other offerings but totally worth it as the other phone cameras have such a muddy low res picture they are almost unusable for anything other than seeing if water as saturated your drywall or where the heat is coming from under your refrigerator. For outdoor use like wildlife and surveillance this is the way to go. This is really $20K FLIR image quality just without all the other bells and whistles. I'm so happy I purchased this as I've been looking for something like this for years.
