Just Plain Does Not Work
I purchased this with the hope of being able to grind small batches of beans for a single cup of coffee or espresso and was sadly disappointed. This simply does not work. At all. Not even a little bit. The ceramic plates do grind against each other but that’s about it. There is no possible way to get the beans down h to the plates to be ground. There is a black three pronged interior insert but it doesn’t actually turn which means it does not move the beans into the grinding area. I spent twenty minutes playing with this before giving up and ended up with half a teaspoon of grounds. It was pitiful.Overall, this just does not work and I cannot recommend it at all.

Love it!! Nice design and free of any type of branding, it's just a plain cylinder, nice and clean.Produces a good coffee grind. I used it straight out of the box. Hopefully it lasts a long time!

Ease of use and cleaning.
At first I thought "A manual coffee grinder? Really? How extreme can you get?" And then, I ended up buying this one on a Deal of the Day out of morbid curiosity.I'm actually glad I did, and not fit the reasons many people buy and use this grinder... Allow me to explain...This grinder has both contributed to increased physical activity, and decreased coffee intake. I was drinking too much coffee...2-4 pots a day. When I bought this grinder and whole beans, I found i I'm trying a lot less!No seriously, about the grinder: I'll actually quite impressed with the extreme grind coarseness adjustment. You literally can dial in the perfect grind for your brew. So far, the unit has been way to use and not a nightmare to clean. I just use a set of brushes to gently free loose materials every couple of grinds... I'm not a perfectionist...Well, this is a great grinder at a great price and you really feel like you've earned your coffee... If you're not feeling too lazy to grind it yourself! (This is where kids come in handy....)

just got it and no instructions or how parts went together i couldnt get all apart i had to dismantle to get the top part off when i did all the parts went flying now trying to figure what goes where lock washer and the plastic washers please help then i can give a real reviewthanksPS my un grinded beans just sitting therei used it for coffee to today and the handle stripped wouldnt turn crappy product
