Is it cadmium and lead free as I don’t see it in the description?

my questions to support: 1) Is it lead free? 2) Is it cadmium free? 3) Is the non stick a ceramic or enamel coating? This is what I got back from support: Thank you for reaching out. To answer your question 1 & 2 ) Yes, it is lead free, non-toxic and BPA Free. 3) The nonstick interior is ceramic coating while the exterior is heat resistant enamel.

Can these pots and pans cook in the oven

The item description says "Do NOT use in oven". Handles are made from bakelite which is plastic. From comments I've read some people bake in them, and plastic usually cracks and also releases phenol and formaldehyde fumes. It is safe for cook top. In fact most plastic pot/pan handles are still made from bakelite (black plastic handles).

They look heavier than they actually are. They are no heavier than any other pot/pan. In fact, they may be lighter than most.
