My kids love this game! It comes with so many different play options too. It can be a bit temperamental if you get out of range though. And sometimes it’s hard to sync them all. It’s also a good cheap alternative to Blaze pods!

This is such a unique and fun toy, it takes a game as classic as tag and puts a modern twist on it - plus it incorporates a whole variety of interactive and engaging games. The set comes with 4 units and adjustable armbands, which can actually fit kids and adult alike - so grownups can join the fun, too! Everything feels really durable and good quality, though I wouldn’t expect anything less from a trusted brand like VTech. Set up was quick & super easy. Directions are read out loud before play begins, so most kids can understand how to play on their own. The sound quality is perfect, it’s crisp and clear. There are 20 different games to play, so you know kids won’t get bored too easily. Plus, there are even single-player games which I think is really nice! This toy is perfect for getting kids to be active and play outside, all while having fun (although it can be used indoors, too.) It’s also super portable, it can be played in your backyard or brought to a park to play there! I definitely recommend this super fun toy set!

This game is good quality and durable. I think my grandson will enjoy this for several years!

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $59.99 with no discount/coupon currently being offered by the seller at this time. This product set could use a decent discount/coupon. My recommendation would be lowering the price to within the $40’s range. A little pricey for what it is, but it’s a kids toy too, and they’re all generally pricey in one regard. The price could nevertheless use a slight reduction. So how does it work? And DOES it even work? Yup, right out of the box. The only unit that comes included with batteries (requires two AA batteries per unit) is the RED colored unit which was prominently displayed through a cut-out along the box allowing the consumer a live demo of the unit. This set arrived well branded, as typical VTech always do, and so it’s perfectly giftable as it meets up to the brand name standards as it should - it’s a fairly reputable kids brand among big box sellers. The material and build quality meets up to the brand name expectations and I have no doubt it’ll last quite a while - it’s durable, I don’t expect it to break even after a few hard slaps, which is important, since hard whacks are to be expected in this game. We got this for our homeschoolers to play with outside. It came with a perfect number of units. I do like that the instructionals both in print and via voice commands is fairly straight forward and simple. Be sure to read the instructions however ahead of time, and give yourself some time to familiarize yourself with the unit. So far so good, the kids liked it as it gave them something new to play. The armband offers guidances and I think the kids play better seeing as it’s a little more objective rather than subjective game play.
