Slow charging on some devices
No matter what charger I hook this up to the mA draw is less than half of what I get with a shorter cable on a Kindle Fire. Estimated about 500mA when charging the kindle Fire with this charger: AmazonBasics Wall Charger with USB Outlet( 2.1 Amp Output) . If I use a shorter thicker cord I get almost 1700mA which is what I would expect is around the max draw, since the real Fire charger is 1800mA max output. I also have a 9ft cable that came with a Verizon charger New OEM ECO USB Wall Charger with 9 Foot Micro USB Detachable Cable for Motorola Droid Bionic and it works almost as good as a short (3ft) cord I have.Just testing this cable on my cell phone using the Verizon charger above and I am getting almost 800mA which is the max draw this phone should ever take. So it might depends on charger / device combos. Works great though if you just need enough juice to use your device while stilling on the couch and not stretching the charger out to the max.Quality seems good, solid connections.

not cheap, but the quality isn't either
I have at least 20 different micro-USB cables in my house, some are too short and most have a fault in their connector. We have more than 15 devices that charge by micro-USB, for this reason WE WEAR MOST WIRES OUT.This cable has been in use for around six months, and the shared point of failure in these cables, the 2 teeth that click when you connect the wire, is GOOD AS NEW!The only flaw is a connector that is just a little too big for some cases, but I've seen much worse

Can't believe I got Tripp Lite at this price!
I was looking for some USB cables to use my Taranis transmitter as a joystick for my flight sim and came across these. I know Tripp Lite has been around for decades and makes great products to it was no brainer to order these and at a surprisingly low price. they came fast, are well made and work great. Win!

Can't carry high current, great length
I purchased this cable when I received my Droid Incredible 4G LTE smartphone. I travel more than 240 days / year for work, and many hotels simply don't have outlets close enough to the bed or desk to be useful. I thought this cable was the answer to my prayers... Unfortunately, it cannot carry the high current required to operate and charge most higher end smartphones. Using my Droid Incredible 4G LTE the maximum current I've seen the phone receive is 300mA. I have tried it with both an 850mA Motorola OEM USB wall charger and a 2A Nook Color USB wall charger. In both cases the phone didn't receive more than 300mA. I did both tests with the phone in airplane mode to ensure the radios didn't interfere with the charge rate. For the price, and for lower current devices only, it's an ok cable. The quality of the standard size and micro USB ports are above average for an aftermarket cable at this price. A much better extended cable option is here if you can get by with 6 feet of length instead of 10: Mediabridge - USB 2.0 A-Male to Micro-B Cable (6 Feet) The mediabridge cable can provide as much current as you can throw at it, though it is almost twice the diameter of this cable, so that probably explains it. I use the Mediabridge when I travel (see my full review on it's product page) and just deal with the missing 4 feet. I wish this cable could carry the full current as it would be much more convenient in older hotels, but it just can't keep up with the power needs of higher end devices.

Tripp Lite makes good quality cables
Tripp Lite makes good quality cables and they are made to last. When you buy Tripp Lite cable you know that the cable will not fall apart on you as other manufacturer cables have done in the past. They are fairly compact as USB cables go. I usually carry about two in my backpack for all of my devices. The 10 foot length works great for reading in bed or on the couch and charging the tablet or a phone at the same time. The Tripp Lite USB cables, I have purchased several of them, works with all of my devices. I have multiple phones (Androids and Blackberries) and tablets. The cables charges and sync my devices without a hitch.A word of warning, beware of USB chargers, you will need to test charger compatibility with you device. Many will not charge your device at the rate stated by the manufacturer. It's not the fault of the cables

Simple product but a good value
This is a simple USB to Micro-USB cable. I have always found the Tripp Lite brand of products to be reliable and a good value for the price. This is no exception.

Surprisingly well made
I'm gonna give it a 5, because if you get 3/4 working for $4ea then I think you're doing good. I was surprised, however, that any 10' USB cable would work, especially data. But these do - and full charge rates also. Well made, the cord material itself is somewhat stiff, probably the material they had to make it with to get the distance. But still pretty flexible, no problem.I bought 10 of them a while back, and 7 are still working after pulling/yanking/jerking/sticking/bending for more than a year. To me, that's totally acceptable for the price. On the other hand, I purchased another brand, and only 1/5 was working out of the box. So yes, these are well made, well packaged and good to go IMHO. And having a full 10' for your Kindle or cell phone is well worth it

Less than I hoped for...
It sorta works. It makes a couple of my devices freak out and flash errors when charging, and works on others... sadly, it doesn't work with the devices I had purchased it for. :(
