High quality, beginner-friendly deck
I am very happy with this deck! Here is a brief breakdown of each aspect: - Packaging: 5/5. Beautiful, compact, sturdy storage box with a ribbon for easy card removal. - Cardstock quality: 5/5. Smooth, matte, easy to separate and shuffle. Fully reversible backing. - Artwork: 4/5. Clear images, sharp lines, easy to interpret. Stays true to the original Rider-Waite-Smith imagery. However, in some of the cards, the people’s faces look… cursed. (For example, the child’s face in The Sun looks like a demon doll.) Not a dealbreaker, just odd. - Guidebook: 4.5/5. Very detailed and describes both upright and reversed meanings in different contexts. Minor nitpick - some cards’ descriptions are too similar to each other. For example, Five of Wands vs. Five of Swords are both described with very similar keywords (conflict) without much to differentiate the two. - Value for money: 5/5. At under $20, this high-quality deck is amazing value. Overall rating: Still a 5/5. I highly recommend this deck to beginners who want a Rider-Waite-Smith deck but find the original artwork tacky.

Best ARTIST rendetion AND tribute of the rider Waite deck! MUST BUY!
This is by far the best artistic version of the rider way tarot deck I have ever seen before! I am not a big fan of the classic coloring or styling of the traditional tarot. Because the color scheme of the traditional tarot isn't as great the line quality artistically speaking isn't great either. But what makes these great and worth the wait is that the color scheme is amazing and harmonizes the entire image and not only the image but also the outer borders of the cards as well. The line quality is very consistent and adds to the detail without taking anything away from the actual symbolism of the cards themselves. I am very impressed with this because a lot of riderweight clones I see don't really improve this line art style the way that this does. And the gold foil on it makes it even more impressive and more luxurious shiny and it gives it that flare that really makes it feel like it's more money than it's actually worth. In fact I'm kind of tempted to buy another one. The quality of this deck I am very impressed with it feels very strong quality, and his overall very beautiful and it has a nice quality feel to it. It's really easy to read the cards because of the way they were designed and not only artistically but also physically as well. As far as I can tell pretty much all the symbolism is there and the traditional tarot. There are some changes however for instance the magician card and the full card seem to deviate a bit more from the traditional tarot however this really isn't a a big a disappointment because everything else is just so amazing! I wouldn't really call this a rider-weight clone I say this is better than a wider weight clone. And this is something that I've been looking for a very long time as a tarot reader to find beautiful cards as I read them for my clients so that way they can appreciate the artistic beauty and value and money that goes into the artistic work as a tarot reader but also as an artist creating the cards, and an artist appreciating art as well, which I am also an artist and tarot reader. If anyone is thinking about buying this deck I give it the best praise out of any other traditional Rider weight tarot out there! In fact I am even tempted to buy a second one. And I am very impressed at the price here I've seen lots of indie decks made by artists that are you know pretty okay, I'm good but it's very rare to find a traditional tarot that actually holds tribute to the original Rider waite, but also has pride and special care and careful design, and harmonious color scheme, and harmonious line quality, well also maintaining the integrity of the rider-waite tradition. Whoever was the artist of this deck did an amazing job and I cannot give a higher praise possible. I am very impressed with this deck, and I hope that other people will be as well. I paid more money for pretty decks, but this is by far the prettiest I've come across at a very affordable and decent price to boot. I would expect these to be at 60-90$ value. In my opinion as an artist and as an experienced tarot consumer. I believe everyone should have this tarot card deck in their collection as a must-have there really isn't anything wrong with it or anything that is bad it's just so good even the way the characters in the tarot the facial expressions, the different types of people that are there, they're not all the same type of person or the same generic male or female look, they have facial style and uniqueness in every one. Also very impressed, generally speaking the anatomy is also drawn well, which is very hard to do. And the gold foil is not over done, so one can easily read the symbols on these cards. The card meanings booklet is also of same quality and also has color! Very beautiful to read and to feel and offers accurate card meanings and not just a few words. This feels like a graphic design quality that is absolutely astounding! 5/5 stars. What are you waiting for? BUY IT! I am so impressed with these cards! I wish I could be an affiliate to promote the heck out of these. I see their potential in the market. Get them while they are at great price right now. I can easily see these become super popular!

Beautiful and high quality!
I love these tarot cards, I’ve had these for years and they still look new! The designs are beautiful and I love the twist of the colors from the classic deck that many people know so they are still recognizable, yet more unique! The little guidebook for reminders and whatnot is very much appreciated too. I highly recommend if you are interested in having a tarot deck for any reason! Beautiful and high quality.

Drop dead gorgeous!
This is an absolutely stunning deck. I learned Tarot on the Rider Waite Smith deck, and my Tarot knowledge is based on that deck. However, I had grown tired of that deck, but was having a hard time finding a RWS-based deck I really loved. I bought many, and there would always be one or two cards, or more, that I didn't like for some reason. Then I discovered this deck. Based on the reviews, I bought it, and it is Tarot Deck Perfection. It contains everything important from Pamela Coleman Smith's artwork, but it has smoother lines, it's more elegant, some of the odd (and to me, off-putting) elements from Smith's artwork have been changed, and the result is an absolutely fabulous deck. The muted color palette remains clear and easy to read because of the high contrast and metallic touches. The cardstock is perfect. This is really a deck to cherish for a lifetime. I just absolutely love it. As a longtime RWS user, I love having a deck that feels really "new" yet one that I don't have to re-learn. It's familiar enough to just pick up and read with, yet it's a whole new, fresh take on the original. I can't praise it enough.

Great beginner deck, but a little thin.
A little thin, but super user-friendly and beautiful design. An amazing starter deck! The free gift is pretty neat too.

Perfect!
This deck is amazing. First off, the artwork is incredible. None of the symbolism/wisdom of the traditional deck is lost, but the updated artwork breathes some fresh air into this deck. The gold detailing on black card stock is very elegant. Quality of the card stock is great, thick, shuffles well. The vibe of the cards is very clean and light. I love the simplified color scheme. It can be hard to distinguish in photos which parts have the mustard ink and which parts are gold foil, so I took a short video of 2 cards. Very well balanced. The guidebook is extremely detailed, but concisely organized so you don’t get lost in a long paragraph. Each card gets two pages, and at the end of each suit chapter, there’s a one word synopsis for a quick overview. My guidebook that arrived was not properly bound. After using it the first day, a few pages came loose so I sent a polite email to the address on the back of the box. I got a reply within the hour and they sent me a fresh deck with no faults. The new guidebook was in my hands in 48 hours after my email. Amazing customer service, wonderful product, beautifully insightful book that has something to offer for beginners and more intermediate practitioners. 10/10

Great quality and gorgeous cards.
Great quality cards. They are not RWS design, so not the best for beginners but they are beautiful cards and great to read once you get the "feel" for them.

Can't recommend highly enough!
I've been using this tarot deck multiple times a week for about a year and a half, and the more I use it, the more I love it. The cards are durable (though you need to be delicate/careful while shuffling or the corners can bend) and feel nice; the plastic doesn't feel cheap/plasticky but keeps the cards from sticking together. And the design is both beautiful and modern, evoking the ancient themes with an updated look that resonates in a way no other traditional tarot deck (or contemporary free-form deck) has for me. Plus the gold detailing makes it a pleasure to read in low light, which is a huge plus (I donated my other tarot deck that was nice but annoying to read without bright lighting.) Can't this deck recommend highly enough! Side note: while I appreciate the little accompanying guidebook, because of its size it's obviously rather limited, so I never use it. But once you get the hang of the full nuances from a full-sized guide, it would probably be good for traveling as a quick reminder.
