I can't believe these still flicker, how do I find some that do not?

Make sure your dimmer is rated as an LED dimmer. Both the dimmer and the bulb must be LED compliant. I have zero flicker with my bulb and dimmer.

Is the quoted CRI of 95 the Ra value? Or, is the CRI of 95 only for a specific frequency band? What is the typical R9 value for these bulbs?

I don’t know the answer to your question however they work well with a dimmer switch. No flashing when turned on and they get very bright. I recommend them.

This may be very pcky but do these bulbs have "writing" on the top pf the bulb? They would be downfacing and I'm looking for a clean look.

No. Unlike the halogen or incandescent lamps, these do not have writing on them.

I have dozens of Philips bulbs throughout my house and never and any radio frequency interference (RFI) issues.
