Consistent inking. No smears. Long lasting.
My favorite pen brand and size for drawing in my sketchbook. Dries quickly with no smudging or smearing issues. I’ve also used them in watercolor paintings with no bleeding. The tips last right to the last drop of ink and I get pretty heavy handed when I draw. Highly recommend for quality, ease of use, and the fact that they last a long while before running out of ink.

Quality Sakura pens for detailed drawing
These are the absolute best quality pens on the market for fine, detailed drawing. They deliver ink consistently over rough paper stock as well as smooth and do not bleed.

Love these pens!
Have purchased many of these over the years. Dries so quickly and glides over the paper, love the fact they are waterproof. Great for ink and wash watercolor painting. My only caveat is that the felt tip wears down too quickly, particularly on smallest sizes. Won’t keep me from continuing to purchase! Love ‘Em!!

Quality pens for any project
My favorite pens for fineline art. The ink flows well and does not fade - and also doesn't bleed. The pen is comfortable to hold and works well at various angles. Being able to have a .01 nib, to do small and fine details. I have used this brand for years, and have never been disappointed. I'm including some of my art - the images are of designs that only 4cm across (less than 2").

Great Detail Pens
The Sakura Pigma Micron Fineliner Pens are great for our art projects! They write the first time applied to paper. They are permanent ink which allows us to use with water color without worry of the ink running. They dry quickly. I recommend them to anyone who wants to add fine detail to their watercolor painting.

The Pen is Good BUT......
I've used these pens years ago as an art student, this was what's required for us to do sketching. I remember that I Looooooved these pens. So now I'm in search of a good pen for my planners I thought about this pen would be a nice option. I first ordered the 01 size in a single pack, because I wasn't sure what size I would like for my planner, it was a bit too skinny, if you are looking for a super fine point, those would be it. However, my real problem was it was dried out from the get-go, I could barely finish a one week spread on my planner before It went completely dried up. I contacted the seller to start a return process, it went through without a hitch, I printed out the return label, thinking it's gonna be a pain to find packaging and go to the post office to drop it off, then the seller contact it me instructing me to just toss. Which I appreciate, the so called FREE return/refund is not so FREE sometime since you have to find packaging, drop it off, and sometimes wait for them to inspect the item to refund your shipping. I'm sure a lot of you know what I'm talking about, it's not the amount of money sometimes, it's the time and effort spent, the inconvenience for something that shouldn't happen in the first place. Anyway, enough about the other order. So after that I decided I like the next size up which are these 02 size. I know I do like these pens from using it years ago so I feel confident that the last one was just a bad one, and I went ahead and placed a six pack order. The first one I pulled out, I had a bad feeling, it's just not the smooth full of ink feeling that you are supposed to get. Of course as time went on, the pen became really dried and it's just not pleasurable to use. I had to urge the start a return process immediately, but I thought I'll just try the other five for the sake of it. The other five was fantastic, exactly how I remembered them, very smooth, black, enjoyable to write with. Amazon does not give you a contact seller option, I thought it used to have it but for some reason I can't find it, so I can't talk to the seller about this problem. I don't want to do a full refund either, since only 1/6 of the product is bad. So I decided to come here and write a review. In conclusion, I do like the product itself, it's a great pen and they come in varies sizes. It's just it's a lottery sometimes, you have to be prepared to receive a bad batch. I give the product 5 stars if it's good, but the whole experience I give 3 stars since it's so inconsistent. At the end I added one star for the ease of the refund, and the fact that they didn't make me go through the trouble to physically return the product. Hope this helps you all.

Use Airtight storage
These pens are great. Especially for mixed media illustration. They dont spread and keep line integrity. Invest in an airtight container so they wont dry out and as a general rule i mark mine so i can exhaust it before using a fresh one.

Great for Precise Printing
Writes very fine, ink lasts a long time. I use these in completing geneaology records and forms that don't have a lot of space for a lot of info, these work fantastic. I have also used them in different sizes for my artwork for personalized greeting cards.
