We generally don't purchase non-Lego bricks, as we've found the don't hold together well. That is not the case with these. If anything, the fit is a little too snug, requiring extra pressure to snap them together. There are lots of specialty pieces included and several of the instructions have included 2-3 different ways of putting the vehicle together. It really is a stunning deal for the price, especially since the pieces are compatible with standard Lego bricks.My 5 year old wants to put these together first thing every morning, resulting in a constant stream of "C'mon mom!" until I get my coffee and wake up enough. My only VERY MINOR complaints are that the instructions are a little hard to read, I think due to the fact that they've been folded to fit in the little compartments, and sometimes the fit of the bricks is so snug that my son can't quite get it snapped together himself.100% will purchase again every Christmas as long as the kiddo still likes vehicles and legos (so probably forever).

My son is excited about to open his vehicle each day. Easy to assemble. Good quality.

I bought this for my boyfriend and I and we loved it so much we bought the animal set to do in January. The instructions are easy to follow and some of the sets even have multiple options for ways to build the vehicle. They're obviously not Legos™ but they are pretty good quality for what you're paying and come with a few extra pieces and stickers.

Great ADVENT CALENDAR for kids. Love how each day has a separate set of blocks and helpful directions to build one entire animal each day. My son is 4, obsessed with animals and dinosaurs, and is so happy with his surprise this year. He does not quit have the fine motor skills to click in some of the smaller pieces but it’s good practice for him. Not bad for knock-off Legos. Fair price considering you get 24 kits. Box does splay out to have a play mat but box itself was a little flimsy so a couple of the perforations were already opening. No big deal. Would definitely buy again.

Ordered this calendar because it is advertised as a dinosaur advent calendar. It is not. Not only is not dinosaur but the instructions for each one has the animals that are in the box…so it’s not really a surprise. Definitely not worth the money and absolutely would not recommend.

This advent calendar was fun, the pieces were sturdy and fun to put together. What I did not enjoy is that many of the cars were very similar if not the same.

We are only 5 days into the calendar so I can't speak for all the toys within but overall so far my 3.5 year old son loves this. We chose it based on the fact that each day is a different vehicle, and the variety of vehicles (air, water, land, etc.). It's really good value compared to all of the official LEGO advent calendars. I knocked a star off though because the instructions could be a bit more clear, and some of the pieces (rubber wheels especially) clearly had kind of lower-quality molds. Overall I think I would still recommend it for any kid that likes vehicles and LEGO.
