At last a feeder that does stop the squirels, I was a little worried that the birds wouldn't use it as it is quite enclosed but they emptied it in 3 days. The squirels went mad but they gave up after about 15 mins.

Robust, holds two fat blocks, easy to fill, used straight away by small birds, squirrels cannot access the feed, looks good and survives even in the worst of weathers.

Took a bit longer to arrive than I would have expected (perhaps because it was part of an order of three things) but perfect for what I wanted in that it is fairly small, easy to use and looks good in the garden. Only put it out yesterday so too soon to tell if it meets with the approval of the birds but I'm hopeful!

Excellent quality and the small birds love it. Larger birds not impressed.

This feeder look good in it's location where plenty of squirrels frequent, sadly though it's now been in it's location for a couple of weeks and I've not seem a single bird use it! I'm confident given that the feeder is well constructed that it will work as regards stopping the squirrels stealing the food intended for the birds and hopefully in time the birds may take to it, though I've got my doubts!

Actually works, the rooks and jackdaws can't eat all the food and leave none for the smaller birds.

It took our squirrels just a few days to break into the feeder. The birds found it more difficult to use. A bad buy.

Brilliant - the squirrels can't get in, but the birds CAN... Perfect!!!! Though they did managed to get in the lid somehow once.... but I put some wire around it to thwart them, which works a treat. We do have very intelligent highly adaptable squirrels on my allotment though (where this feeder hangs). I am sure they all attend some special Squirrel Food Academy where they learn techniques for infiltrating all kinds of supposedly squirrel proof feeders.This feeder looks great too - the oval shape and the colour are a delight to the eye... :)

Squirrels figured out how to open it and eat the food from the top.

The thing I did not like about the feeder sent to me was that it had a plastic tubewith perches instead of the mesh screen. obviously it was made for seed not suet balls or peanuts.
