I don't know why I never thought to replace the old boot cover. Wait, I know why, I've had my car since 2003 and back then, videos on youtube for the DIYer was still in it's infancy! The original boot was some sort of pleather and started to disintegrate probably 15 or more years ago. Recently, I got myself into a rabbit hole looking at VW Golf vids on how to take apart the interior door handle on the driver side and found a vid on how to replace this boot cover and there was a link provided to this very product, now I have a brand new leather boot cover and I'm so happy with it. Thank goodness for technology =)

There was too much leather excess past the elastic component. Making it impossible to seat the boot without the leather covering the tabs. I cut the excess and got it to seat down but I can visually notice the edges of the leather. Ordered a different one from stitch boot because I was dissatisfied

Es un poco grande de larga. Podría cortarse un poco de la parte superior? Quizás. Un de la parte inferior la goma debería ser un poco más fuerte y tensar más. De aspecto muy bien

Fait dans un (vrai !) cuir un peu plus épais que le matériau synthétique d'origine, mais convient parfaitement. Sur ma Golf 4, une fois fixé au pommeau du levier de vitesse, pour fixer le bas du soufflet à l'embase de la console centrale il faut simplement bien l'insérer puis faire glisser. Ca vient tout seul et le résultat final est nickel ! Pour moins de 10 euros, la réparation a un rendu vraiment sympa.

Conforme à l'originale

La pelle è di buona qualità, si vede e si sente, tuttavia è piuttosto spessa e questo comporta non pochi problemi in fase di sostituzione della cuffia. In particolare la parte vicino al pomello è difficilissima da montare correttamente. Consiglio di acquistare direttamente pomello e cuffia insieme piuttosto che passare ore a cercare di chiudere la cuffia singola negli alloggiamenti. Montata su Golf serie IV, cambio a 6 marce.

Perfetta per la mia Bora 1.9TDI parente della Golf 4. Perfetta spedizione, semplice da installare. Consigliata
