The Earth Book: A world of exploration and wonder

This book is going to be an amazing resource for homeschooling.... tons information and beautiful pictures!

This book is beautiful. My girls ages 6 and 3 love exploring it. It brings up many great questions throughout our lessons. I use this book to supplement in my homeschooling lessons.

My children love this book and look at it often!

Please get rid of the (360 degrees) bought this thinking it was an actual 360° book. It looks decent nonetheless

Beautiful cover...expectations were high but...the illustrations were dull and the lettering was small...the format was confusing...I bought thisbook for a public library and sent it back...it did not suit the age for which it was indicated...

I bought this book for my son because we loved StoryWorlds: Nature, also by Thomas Hegbrook. Nature doesn't have any text on or near it's illustrations, instead it has a sort of "key" at the back that explains the story of each. We probably checked that book out of the library a dozen times and purchased the similarly formatted StoryWorlds: A Moment in Time. The illustrations in The Earth Book are just as beautiful but they have text mostly on top of the illustrations and it is often very difficult to impossible to read at bedtime. I've added a photo of perhaps the worst 2-page spread but there are a number of difficult pages and passages. I want to love this book as much as the illustrator's others but now it pains me to see it pulled off the shelf at night!

Lovely illustrations and very informative. My young elementary children love it!

This is a beautifully illustrated and ambitious book - it is such a pity that the text is so small against extremely dark backgrounds that makes it impossible to read. The author assumes knowledge. No glossary or index. Five stars for illustrations. Two stars for the author who should be explaining what he is saying in the text in an age appropriate way. Zero for whoever though children would be able to read this book.

This is a really lovely book and its presented in a beautiful manner. It's almost too nice to let the kids have! :D

A wonderful present for my 7 year old granddaughter who wants to be an environmentalist! She loved it

This book is great for all ages. I even found my husband reading it. The illustrations are fantastic.
