Elite Self Cleaning Roll 'n Clean Litter Box, Midnight Black, Large (EL-RA20-1)

As someone who struggles to get the litter box clean due to mental illness and mine and my partners very busy schedule, I now am able to clean the litter box before I go to work. it literally took me 1 minute to clean the litter box. I’ve cleaned it 3 times since it got here not even 24 hours ago because it’s just SO easy. My cats love it and it fits my 14lb cat and withstands his aggressive covering up technique. It’s made from solid material and is easy to take a part for a deep cleaning. I will definitely be recommending this litter box to every single person I know, which is a lot of cat people cause I work at an animal shelter 😂 If you are on the fence about buying it, DO IT, ITS A LIFE CHANGER.

This is a great product. I have a large and charming male cat that is totally deaf. He uses this and has had "sleep overs" with other cats and they use the spare one (an older model that I got as a "donation"). As others note the plastic grill is the weak point, but the basic design is great. It will save you hours on a daily basis. Just roll and bang the bottom, then put it back, pull out the drawer and dump into a poop bag and you're done. I use Slide litter. Works perfectly. As I said earlier, I got a donated version of the older model and the plastic grill is coming apart at the seam. [ I also made the mistake of putting the grill in backwards after cleaning and couldn't figure out why it worked so poorly. Make sure you don't do that. :-) The next time I did a "deep clean" I figured out the problem and it works great again. ] I also fixed that seam on the older grill using duct tape (worked great). The best part is I can clean the cat's litter in a minute or less and not get my hands dirty -- both at night and in the morning. Which inspires me to clean it more often. About once a month, you still need to pull the whole thing out into the yard and completely clean it out the old fashioned way. Take a photo so that you put it all back in the right way. And do double check the clips to make sure it is all tightly attached when you are done (as others note if you miss one litter will leak out). I use the drawer to measure the new clean litter so I don't put too much (about two drawer-fulls is more than sufficient; Slide is a heavy litter). If the creators ever want to improve it, they should find a way to make the grill metal. Otherwise keep some duct tape handy. I would definitely buy it again when these two wear out. The older version might be good to start to try it out, but the newer version is a bit sturdier (and the new clips are a bit easier to fasten). A very good product.

This is absolutely the best litter box on the market - after the first time you clean the litter you'll wonder why you didn't buy this sooner!! It was easy to put together. After reading the comments here and with the difficulties some people had, I bent the 'sifting' piece before snapping it into place in the bottom half of the box. I made sure there wasn't any problems with it, no cracks, then snapped the solid piece to the side of the box and folded the sifting side into the slots in the bottom of the box. The top fits perfectly onto the bottom and there are clips that hold the two sides together. If you don't have the top and bottom lined up properly the clips will give you a problem... just adjust it a little, make sure they're fit snugly together and the clips will slide very easy. After that, just insert the tray in it's spot and wait for your cat to 'go'. Some people have said their cats had a problem adjusting, mine really didn't - but then again, when it came time to transition, I didn't give them much of a choice..... I left one of their old boxes next to the Omega Paw Elite Self Cleaning Roll 'n Clean Litter Box and didn't clean it. First though, after I got it, I set it up and left it in the living room (without litter in it) so they could get used to it being around. They sniffed at it - jumped in it - just generally checked it out. After that, I moved it to where their old litter boxes were and as I said, I left one of their old boxes next to it and gave them the option to use either the old or the new box. They figured out what it was and started using the new box. I did get two of these as my two cats are high "producers" :-) Clean up is a breeze! Just roll it over slowly to the right side, the clean litter sifts into the bottom and the clumps gather into the top. When you roll it back to the left, the clumps drop into the tray. I read that someone else rolls it a little further to the left so more of the clean litter filters back into the area where the cat uses it. After that, just remove the tray, dump it, replace it, and you're done. I usually roll it over twice - the second time I'll hit the bottom of the box so anything that is stuck to the bottom comes off and goes into the tray. My cats like to dig down to the bottom of the litter box before they urinate so I always have stuck on clumps. If you're on the fence about buying this, wondering if it's worth the cost - trust me, for the ease and not having to scoop and deal with all the mess, it is absolutely worth it!!!

UPDATE: now april 2022. We are still using this litter box and have had no issues with the casing cracking, the lid clips breaking. It is still in perfect shape and still the best and easiest litter box we have ever used. We have designated a closet as our litter room and we turn the box back wards so the cats have to jump on top and climb in, this helps reduce the amount of litter the track out as they have to get out slowly! I had originally bought one of the expensive automatic litter boxes thinking it would be WAY better than having this one that required you to flip it on it's side. But I had so many issues with the automatic one (NOT THIS ONE). Litter kept sticking to the bottom and turning into mud. The giant scoop thingy didn't really got low enough and kept getting stuck. Plus the gaps between it were so big that a lot of poo/pee clumps were able to get through it or at times would get flung out by the force of it getting stuck. I tried different litters but gave up. Even aside from those issues, it was very hard/messy to empty the tray. After I gave up on the automatic box, I purchased this one and was incredibly surprised but how much easier, cleaner, and faster it was to use. You just flip it on it's side, plus I give it a few taps to knock off anything stuck, put it back down, and remove the tray, dump it into the garbage, and put the tray back in. It almost has like a filter, and when you tilt it on it's side, all the good litter goes through the filter into the other side of the box leaving all the waste which falls into the tray as you're tilting further. Originally I didn't understand how it worked but it's a very good design. I just wish I would have gotten it earlier. It still astonishes me as to how much faster and easier it is to use than an expensive automatic one.

I ordered it twice and both times I received it broken Don't order it .

Cela fait plusieurs semaines que j'utilise cette litière pour mon chat. Je suis très contente. Elle est bien conçue intelligemment. Je suis satisfaite de ne plus avoir à fouiller la litière avec une pelle pour en retirer les déchets. Elle est suffisamment spacieuse pour mon chartreux. Le volume général de la litière est très correct. Son utilisation est rapide et pratique. Pour moi, c'est un bon compromis entre un robot hors de prix et une litière classique. Les plastiques sont correctement solides. À voir avec le temps.
