Wow! Didn't think they would be this good at this price point!
We have several dogs. So we sleep with a large fan on in the bedroom both for the comfortability and to keep any noise down, either us waking up dogs, or dogs waking us up. And yes, first world problem, having to get up to turn the fan on and off. So I decided to try a smart plug, and this one had tons of good reviews. And the price was amazing. It came out to be about $5 per plug when I bought the 4-pack with a coupon that was offered. The setup was extremely easy. The app is great. On the app, you can label each plug AND put a photo of the item being controlled by that particular plug. Which I just think is very neat. Once you have it set up on the WiFi, and get the app set up, it's super easy to control everything. Also, you can set up an account on their app, then log into that account on other devices using the app, so you don't have to go through setting everything up. If you add a device, it will sync up between any devices you are logged into with the account. That made it easy, I just set it up, then installed the app on my beautiful girlfriend's phone and logged into it, and everything was ready for her to use.It says 15 amp capacity per plug, which is decent. I'm not sure I would try to test that capability. I think if you are trying to remotely control the power of any heavier-duty electronics, you should get a plug rated for higher than you plan to use. For example, we use ours for our large fan, which is only 3.5 amps, and lamps around the house.Overall, I was surprised at how well these plugs worked. The app is great. Connectivity is great. The price was great. I suppose the only detail that might detract from a more expensive smart plug is that these plugs only support 2.4Ghz WiFi. So if you don't have that running, you would not get the network connectivity. Other than that, this is an incredible product. Very happy with them. They are used every day, multiple times, with no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend these smart plugs.

Best choice on the market for integration!
I am very interested in automating a lot of things in my home, so I researched many brands of smart devices.I did not want to have to install several apps for different manufacturers of smart devices, or be involved with different ecosystems, so I was looking for one brand to rule them all.Meross seems to fit the bill. They make the most smart devices from what I can tell, but more importantly quality devices that are easy to setup. They support all the big automated options: Alexa, Google and IFTTT.These smart plugs are no exception. All it takes is a few clicks in the app to connect to the device and add it to your network, once you've given your Wi-Fi credentials to the app. You give it a name, choose an icon for it and you're done.Once you have multiple devices in the app, you can put them in groups to control them together. Then you can create "scenes" where you can specify the state of any or all of the devices. You can also create schedules for the scenes to automate morning or night routines, or whatever you want.I can tell Google (nest mini) to turn off the living room lamps, or all the lights, and this works flawlessly. The plugs also work with Alexa and IFTTT, which is a custom interface in which you can create rules that connect to other services or apps for further automation.I have used these with the Meross app, google integration and IFTTT, all have worked as expected. They are on the large side, and will block other plugs on a power strip or surge protector if not generously spaced, and depending on how they're oriented. That may just be the industry Norm size though. One thing I wish it had is a 5ghz wifi antenna.I was really trying to weed out 2.4ghz devices from my home, and had almost succeeded. But alas, it is a necessary evil. This also may be a design limitation, due to 5ghz requiring at least one extra antenna that would make the plug even bigger.I have found creative uses for these. My favorite so far is for my reciever. It has a "feature" where it stops responding to it's remote app every once in awhile, with the solution being to disconnect and reconnect the power cable. The manufacturer considers this not an issue. Since the plug is behind a huge entertainment center, it was a real pain to do this every time. Now I can comfortably click it off with a button on my phone, or tell Google to turn the receiver off, and back on again. Which is pretty satisfying. These plugs are also very cost-effective.They cost less per plug than one of those timers you plug into an outlet. This easily replaces that device for less money and has infinitely more capability.Since purchasing these plugs I've had no reliability issues with them, but one time the power went out for a few minutes and came back on. When the power restored, all the plugs continuously turned on and off until I pressed the power button on each to get them to stop, then restored the wifi so they were happy. This was a bit concerning to me as I watched my receiver power on and off about 10 times. Nothing came of it, but that is one issue I hope can be fixed through the app. If I had not been home I'm not sure how long that would have gone on.Since purchasing these I've aqcuired an outdoor rated 2 plug power strip, smart dimmer switch and smart garage door opener. I've been happy with all of them. I'm already planning on getting 3-way smart dimmer switches and more wall plugs.Meross seems like a very future proof choice and so far I'm really happy with my Meross powered home.

Almost painless setup, working well so far
Purchased these to integrate with my Octoprint setup, replacing an old GPIO controlled relay that powered my printer on/off. The manual button on the side makes these more convenient, and the four pack ensures I have replacements in case of failure or if I want to control some other device. I have logged 50+ hours of time on that new printer and had no issues with the plug so far.Setup was OK, you have to create an account on their website and download an app on your phone, but I was able to successfully do both using a throwaway email. The app requires you to give it location permissions to register the plugs but you can revoke them later. You have to setup each plug by itself, it took me a couple minutes per plug once I put them right next to my mesh wifi's main hub, earlier attempts near one of the repeaters did not work. The plugs aren't visibly labeled, I would recommend numbering them with a permanent pen as you set them up to keep track of them, especially if you don't intend on using them all right now.

Great product - use the QR code to download app
Works well - very good tech support. Use the QR code to download app as the AppStore text search seems to have problems, Installs easily and integrates simple with Alexa.

Excellent wifi plug, but app could use a couple more features, and still missing Google Assistant integration
With things like Alexa and Google Assistant becoming more popular in the last couple of years, the idea of automating some of the outlets at home has been on my mind. So I decided to give this smart plug a try.THINGS I LIKE:- Allows you to turn on / off the power to any device remotely, whether you’re at home or across the globe (as long as you have internet access, of course).- Works like a charm and exactly as advertised. So far I’ve only tried it with the Meross phone app and not with Amazon Alexa, but I haven’t had a single issue with it.- Easy to set up and simple to use. Just open up the app, follow the simple prompts, and you’re done. To use it, open the app and press a button to toggle on and off - simple as that.- The app allows you to schedule times to automatically turn it on / off. You can also set it to turn off after a defined number of minutes.- Button on the side allows you to turn on / off the plug manually, without going through the app.- Only takes up one plug, without covering the other one on the outlet. For power bars, however, it may take up more than one spot, depending on the layout of the power bar.- Rating of 15A and 1800W will work with a great range of devices and appliances.THINGS I DON’T LIKE:- There are two key features missing from the app (at least the Android version): (1) Widgets that allow to toggle on / off without going into the app and (2) automated location-based toggles (i.e. turns on / off automatically when it detects your phone in a certain location).- Compatibility with Google Assistant is not currently there. Although it is supposedly coming via a software update, who knows when this will happen.- Can’t use this device to power on / off devices without a mechanical switch. For example, I can’t use it with a desk lamp I have that has an electronic on / off switch.Overall, I really like this thing. It’s awesome being able to turn on / off lights when I’m traveling, to help keep burglars away (for example). $30, while certainly not cheap (especially if you need multiple plugs), is a reasonable price for something like this. And given this particular model works flawlessly, it would be a great addition to your home automation system.

Works great! Note
Works great! Note: A previous reviewer mentioned there were 2 units in the box...there were NOT.Integrated easily with Google Assistant on my phone and subsequently with my Google Home. The one nice feature is a scheduling option so our bedroom light is on when we go to bed.NOTE! If you have a wifi extender, make sure your phone and Meross are on the same network i.e. if one is on the home network and the other is on the extended network, it won't work. Also note: It would not work with our floor lamp for some strange reason.
