About what you would expect
Nice toner wand, works as expected for tracing analog tones. It receives any standard toner signal. I actually prefer the Triplett Fox 2 and Hound 3 set since the Hound 3 has LED's for seeing in poorly lit wiring closets. Having two receiving wands is a good idea. In a pinch, one is guaranteed to get lost, broken or have a depleted battery.
