We've had these travertine coasters for a while now and use them regularly. I love the natural stone look, a little pock marked without being a rough or uneven surface. They are heavy enough that they don't lift suctioned to a sweaty glass (99% of the time) but on the rare chance they do, the cork underside is full coverage so the stone hasn't damaged my glass coffee table. I think the coolest thing I noticed when we first got these coasters is they truly are somewhat naturally absorbent. I don't know how that works scientifically but I know on our old coasters, any cold glass resulted in a pool of condensation I had to mop up constantly and would pour off the coaster edges. These don't have that problem unless it's a LOT of condensation, like a 32oz full glass of ice water will probably result in a wet coaster but a small glass or a cold can of soda doesn't at all! I guess if the travertine is naturally absorbent then the wetness must evaporate over time....I have no idea but it's fascinating. One downside to this is we spilled a dark soda all over one coaster and it absorbed some so now that coaster is tinted slightly darker than the others like a mild stain, but not enough to look like it's damaged or doesn't belong with the set.

The stone coasters I received vary in color from almost white to tan, but the company let me know that you can request matching ones if that is important to you. They want the customer to be pleased. The coasters are truly natural and come with the markings and feel of a natural stone. They seem to be quite absorbent so far. They are a nice size for almost any cup or glass. They are nice and heavy so I don't think they will slide around easily. The cork backing works well to protect the counter.

These travertine coasters are so beautiful! Have some weight to them. They are tile so if dropped they could break. I love them came packaged very well!

These look just like the picture , very beautiful they were very protected, only have it four stars because one of the pieces was chipped on the corner, but over all I love them def recommend

Love these coasters. Look just like the pictures. They don't really absorb water but they're heavy enough that when you pick up your glass the coaster won't stick to it.

Came broken. Stains easily. Also always feels like there’s a layer of powder on the surface.
