These last so much longer than regular batteries in my remotes and other devices — I’m replacing them far less often which more than makes up for the price. AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED LITHIUM BATTERIES ARE THE ONLY WAY TO GO, FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS I WONT GET INTO...... MY BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THEM IS PURELY COST, FOR ME THEY ARE JUST OVER PRICED,,, YOU BUY A DEVICE THAY YOU KNOW YOU WILL HAVE TO PUT THEM IN, SUCH AS A TRAIL CAMERA, THATS 8 BATTERIES,,,,, THATS PUSHIN 50$$$ WORTH OF BATTERIES THAT YOU HAVE TO FIGURE IN TO THE COST OF THE TRAIL CAM,,, AND IT A 50$ COST YOUR GONNA HAVE TO PAY OVER AND OVER LIKE TAXES,,, AND THAT ADDS UP BEFORE LONG YOUVE GOT AS MUCH COST ROLLED UP IN BATTERIES THAN THE FAIRLY EXSPENSIVE GAME CAM YOU PURCHASED TO BEGIN WITH,,,, ITS FINE FOR A WALL CLOCK OR A REMOTE BUT,,,,,, STILL PRICEYYYYYYYY

I bought these for an alarm clock so Im not changing the battery all the time. I wanted to trust the battery wouldn't corrode since it isn't something I would know if it did. If you know how to put a battery in then it is easy to use and of course they fit. For peace of mind it's a value especially for the battery life. I buy these for everything that matters to me because they are good quality.

Using this for a remote outdoor temperature sensor. Lithium batteries will last 2x-3x times longer than alkaline where temps are below freezing...18 months vs 6 months. Sure, alkaline is still a bit cheaper even with the multiple swaps, but lithium reliability and peace of mind also count, especially for devices where access is difficult or battery loss requires re-syncing.

We purchased it for our son lego train and the power and the life of battery is impressive!
