I know stainless steel might seem weird but it's totally the best thing for your cat box. Stainless steel is non porous and doesn't collect bacteria. That's majorly important for your cats health. If you love them then you should seriously consider this. It's much lighter in weight than it appears. No our cats didn't sneer at it. Lol. Any cat owner I know would laugh. Cats can be finnicky and mine took to this right away. In fact our older cat no longer poops out side of the box.Stainless steel is much cleaner as I stated before, just look at what items we use that are stainless and why. WHY? Stainless steel helps prevent bacterial growth in your cat box. It's some of those bacterias that are causing the smell from the cat box.One of the main reasons I purchased this is I was so tired of trying to clean the boxes out, they never came clean, they still had an awful smell. They were never sturdy enough to go dump the litter, the sides would always cave in on my Not Any More. Now we are able to clean every nook and cranny of the litter box, we can properly sanitze it and let it air dry. That way we're giving the fur babies a clean place to potty. Just think about it. They step in it and hoover over it, kick it around and everything else, do you want that funky bacteria being spread all over your house. Love this litter box, and I think it's worth the investment!I have two cats, one who really likes to swipe down the sides of the box when she does her business. The more she swipes, the more scratches a plastic litter box picks up, the harder it is to clean, and the more smell and maintains. So it was time to replace one of my boxes when I picked up this stainless steel one.It's exactly what I wanted! It's huge, about the footprint of an average laundry basket, and probably almost as deep with the top guard in place. The guard *is* plastic, but the bottom is deep enough that my cat doesn't bother it much, and honestly I could live without it, but it's nice to help contain litter spread. It does just kinda sit on top of the base, which my mom found off putting when she got hers, but it doesn't shift around that I've noticed. The bottom has foam feet so it doesn't slide or scratch the floor which is a nice detail.The main attraction to this box, though, is the ease of cleaning it. Dirty, wet litter slides right out, and it's easy to rinse and wipe out. There's no hold over smell, either.The only issues I have with this litter box are (1) it's a bit heavy and cumbersome, even empty, and (2) it's hard to find a home for it, as it's almost twice the size of any of my old boxes.

We got these pans to go inside of these litter ecoflex litter enclosures that we've had for some time. At first I bought one. It fit very perfectly - the entry lip of this pan aligned exactly with the doorway on our enclosure. So I bought two more for the other two enclosures!I dig the stainless steel pans because they are very easy to clean. The plastic sides are also nice (despite being plastic which I try to minimize) and easily snap on and off for cleaning. There are non-skid feet pre-attached to the bottom as well which is nice. **The edges are rounded** so they are super safe even if the plastic sides aren't used.Packaging: this ships very securely. I had a different metal pan a while ago, but the edges were bent. Not this one - the edge protectors you see fully protect this in transit.I find this product to be exactly what we needed, and there are no issues in build quality in the ones we've bought. If you are looking for a litter pan, I recommend this one.

I was looking for a smaller litter box to use with my new Petivity montior. The max size you're supposed to use is 21" L x 16" W. Most litter boxes are jumbo sized these days. I also wanted to try stainless to avoid smells & replacing a plastic one every few years.There are a couple cons, the sides of the removable plastic enclosure aren't straight, they tilt inwards diminishing the area inside a box that's already on the smaller side. Though this hasn't prevented my cats from using it. As I suspected, the nonstick coating disappears quickly, but it's still fairly easy to clane. Lastly, there are a couple, chips, I suppose. So it's not a high quality stainless, but so far no rust after 6 months of use.

Love this cat litter box!!!! It's sturdy, easy to clean, and odors are a thing of the past. My kittens love it!!! Overall, I recommend it.
