OXO Good Grips Twisting Jar Opener with Basepad, Black, One Size

This gadget is easy to use and works well on jars and bottle tops (mineral water, screw-top wine bottles). Highly recommend it (and wish I had bought one sooner!).

I've used OXO Goodgrips before. I already had a jar lid opener but I found it clumsy to use. I have weak wrists and even with the standard ones you need to twist to assist to get the lid off. Not with this one. It's innovative! Firstly, the little silicone mat it comes with to place the jar on is genious. It keeps the jar steady while using the main twister. The twister is brilliant. I've used it for all jar lid sizes so far it works on all of them. It does all the work. You twist it but the main force is applied for the gadget so it's comfortable to use. I've not seen one like this before and it's a game-changer for the best in our kitchen. It's good value for money. I would purchase it for a friend or family member.

Works well with little effort. Everyone should have one! Good value too. So much less effort required to open those tight jars etc.

Solidly made, jar opener. Easy to use, accommodates most small to medium sized jars. Sadly, it did not fit the jar I specifically bought it for, but kept it for future use. If buying to open a paticular item, check the dimensions against those in description prior to purchase.

A great gadget and brilliant product, my wife opened a very tight jar of coffee with this, this morning, even with her arthritic hands she found it a doddle, this is the first time she has used this jar opener but the way it, and she performed I think she is going to get on with it for a long time to come. It is light weight yet strong, with comfortable grips on the handle, not too bulky and the design makes it a doddle for her to use and being high quality chrome plate means if it ever needs to be washed or cleaned that'll be a doddle too, plus the none slip mat is not only a bonus but it really does work well, highly recommended.

This easy to use opener works on all sizes from water bottles to large pickle jars. Brilliant if you have arthritis in your hands.
