Love these vitamins for my modified Low-FODMAP diet, but goes out of stock and is relatively pricey
Amazon informs me that I have purchased this product 30 times, and so I guess you could say I'm happy with it. 😁 I am currently on the modified/maintenance Low-FODMAP diet stage, and these vitamins include everything that my gastroenterologist wants me to take. I get no GI upset, bloating, gas, headaches, or other symptoms from these vitamins as far as I can tell, and have been taking them for years. Easy for me to swallow, and I don't get the vitamin burps which is nice! While most of the plant ingredients don't have strong research suggesting their benefits (much like most herbal supplements), when I've looked into them, anecdotally or with research with small sample sizes of people, they're all seem pretty solid. It does contain a very small amount of garlic. Garlic isn't one of my triggers so I'm not worried about it, but if you are sensitive to that, maybe try it for a month to see if it's enough to bother you before totally ruling these vitamins out. The manufacturer says it is within the green zone for fructans/oligosaccharides and suitable for the most restrictive portion of the Low-FODMAP process (it's not whole ground garlic - the fructans are water-soluble and removed, and so it's like the difference between cooking with garlic pieces vs. cooking with garlic oil; see Monash's "Cooking with onion and garlic- myths and facts" article for more about how this works in general for the things you consume). My downsides and why I take off a star (even though I am otherwise very happy with the actual product itself, wish I could do 4.5 stars): - Fairly often, these go out of stock, and I have to buy a different multivitamin for a month for coverage. But as soon as they go back in stock I order a bottle and go back to this one as soon as I finish off the different brand's bottle (Waste Not). I can't give an actual number for how many times I've wanted to order but they've been out of stock, but at least I'd guess 3-4 times a year. - The other downside for me is the price; as-labeled there are 60 pills in the bottle and the serving size is 2 capsules per day, and so 1 bottle is intended for 1 month. For the last year or so, I only take 1 capsule per day to make it last two months, which is fine for me because most of the vitamins and minerals are pretty far over their RDV. To compensate, I take vitamin D3 and a magnesium supplement instead because I can get those for cheaper elsewhere. Overall I TRULY HOPE these don't get discontinued at any point, because they are the best vitamins I've had since starting Low-Fodmap a bunch of years ago, and there is nothing else like them currently on the market (at least here in the USA, can't speak for other countries)!

Not FODMAP Friendly
This supplement severely triggers my IBS symptoms. I have no symptoms following a strict FODMAP and low residue diet for IBS-D, though I have been able to add in a few foods. In addition, I burp after taking the supplement. It is my understanding that no amount of garlic is acceptable, although you can make a carefully prepared garlic infused oil according to MONASH. There is no reason to include garlic in a low FODMAP supplement and every reason to exclude it. I will be starting a new mulitvitamin today, assuming it is delivered. I'd pass on this product and look into the Thorne products. There are other products out there, too. It does take some digging to find the right one, which depends on your specific needs.

I have fructose malabsorption. Fatigue is one of my symptoms. I avoid most of my "trigger foods," which helps. However, I do believe I have more energy since starting to take this vitamin. I would have given it five stars, if it didn't contain garlic. I will admit it does not seem to bother me, but I rather it not be in the vitamin. I doubt it is providing worthwhile benefits.
