Enables my R7 to use EF lenses without any issues. Adds a bit of weight to the set-up but still perfectly manageable. Image quality seems great to me.

Well made, It works and is a good price.

It's a great, cheaper alternative to the OEM adapter. It could be a bit sturdier, but then again it costs 50% of the original product so I'm not complaining too much about it. It's good to have it when you need to use your older lenses before switching to native RF glasses.

No problems encountered so far. Allows use of EF lenses on R6 camera. Some functionality is lost but for general photography is great.

I bought this product in 2023 to use on canon r5 and EF lens, it has worked perfect until now 2025 Update on product in 2025. This item never came off the camera until this week 20/05/25, the switch to take the convertor off the camera has snapped and will not click back into place, the product is now useless,

I've not had time to really put this through its paces yet, but tried all my lenses on it (two different canon lenses, and a sigma) and all work perfectly with regards to all the 'auto' features etc. It all seems to lock to the body, and to the lens pretty well, but it is plastic rather than metal, so I'm being pretty careful with it. That said, my larger canon telephoto seems robust enough on this. So far, can't fault it.

I have bought Mieke lens adapters before and they're great. Lovely fit and I can use all of R8 functions as normal.

I put the adapter onto my new Canon R10 camera - it wasnt right at first then turned it but it locked in a strange position - tried to unlock it but it wont budge - the button has clearly locked the mount adaptor in the wrong place - been quoted £300 for the repair - be careful when using this - could cost you a fortune if not mounted correctly!

Al principio tenía dudas vista las reseñas, pero me parecía caro pagar 119€ por el adaptador original de Canon. Al final este ha servido de sobra para mí, parece robusto y el ajuste con los diversos objetivos EF/S que tengo es perfecta. Dispongo de objetivos de Canon, Tamron y Yongnuo y todos funcionan a la perfección, el único que dió un problema al principio (antes de actualizar la cámara al último firmware) fue un tamron 70-300mm que daba error de comunicación, pero tras la actualización de la cámara ha funcionado a las mil maravillas, con un enfoque rápido, teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones de cada objetivo. Veremos como se porta con el tiempo, pero en principio, parece que va perfecto.

This adapter works exactly as intended for adapting EF lenses to an RF mount. I’m currently using it on a Canon R50, which is APS-C, but I’m adapting full-frame EF lenses with no issues. I’ve used it with the Sigma 40mm f/1.4 Art, Canon EF 85mm L, and the Canon EF 50mm. The crop factor is about 1.6 on the R50, as expected, but the adapter allows full functionality when mounting these lenses to the body. Autofocus, aperture control, and exposure all work properly. This is a great option if you already own EF lenses and want to use them on RF mirrorless bodies without upgrading everything at once. The adapter feels solid, mounts securely, and removes easily. It’s a good value, works reliably, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I recommend it. Good size, easy to use.

I given it a thorough test in a variety of climates, and with a very heavy 600mm lens. It’s strong enough to support the lens and has not had a problem. Seems to work very well.
