Works great to adapt 1080p signals to SDI for frame synchs.
I keep several of these on my TV truck to adapt devices like iPads, Apple TV, PCs and laptops to a 1080p signal that Cobalt UDX and AJA FS1/2/4s can lock.

Great product, easy to use
We are using the MD-LX for a production of Grease at school. We needed a low-latency video feed of the conductor, since she’s on stage behind the performers. We are using a Sony camcorder with SDI out to the MD-LX to an ASUS 24” FreeSync monitor. There’s almost no latency. For us, this was the perfect solution, especially for a non-tech person like me.

STABLE AND VERSATILE
I love this versatile unit. It's bidirectional, SDI to HDMI. HDMI to SDI. And conserve as a re-amp for long HDMI runs. small. USB powered with AC USB adaptor included. stable. however its pass through. you cant change resolution from input to output like other decimator units. but tgat aside, i love the product.

Not what I needed but wonderful return experience
So this does not do cross CONVERSION (I.E. it will not change frame rates, I missed that) so I had to return it to Adorama. They took care of postage and my Mail officer pick it up from my house. Total cost to send it back? Around $3.50. Very very reasonable. I will be ordering from them again. I hate returning things, but it's nice knowing that I can do it hassle free.

Great product
I have a customer that needed to change television from an S Video connection and change it to HDMI for a better solution for colonoscopies. The equipment they currently have only has an SDI output for digital resolution. I connected this bad boy and it worked instantly. Very happy with the product.

AINT GOT NO POWER
The power cord is piss poor and loose.Had to by better ones to make it work.

Plug-n-Play
Installed these with a 150' SG-6 cable to two TV's and it worked no problems. Very pleased with quality of the device and that it is simple to install. Now if I could just figure out an easy way to pull the cable life would be good!

Great, but read the description
Works great to convert reliably from HDMI-to-SDI and SDI-to-HDMI but note that it does NOT scan convert between resolutions, framerates, interlaced-to-progressive. For that, I recommend the MD-HX.
