Great Extender, Especially for TP-Link Based One-Mesh Network
Really great extender that works flawlessly with my TP Link Router Archer BE800. There were certain dead spots or inconsistent WiFi in our two-story house with a large yard and a gym shed in the back yard (that requires WiFi for music and TV, etc.) I've now got two of these RE815X extenders, and they were quite easy to set up, connect via one-mesh (basically the same SSID and password, so devices just automatically jump to the nearest/strongest version of the main network depending on proximity). It works quite well, and I now get solid throughput in the backyard and throughout all rooms of the house. Having tried multiple router and extender configurations over the years, this one is the one that just works.

Amazing Wi-Fi 6 Extender – Solved My Dead Zone Problem!
I bought the TP-Link AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Range Extender to fix a major issue: one of my rooms had no Ethernet connection and terrible Wi-Fi, and I almost called a handyman to install an Ethernet port in the room. A search online pointed me to the TP-Link AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Range Extender. This extender solved the problem perfectly! Setting up with the TP-Link Tether app was quick and painless, and within minutes, I had strong, reliable Wi-Fi and a usable Ethernet port in that room. I tested it with my switch and "voila", it works! The performance has been excellent—fast speeds, smooth streaming, and stable connections with no more dropouts. Even devices that struggled before now work flawlessly. The extender blends right into my Spectrum Wi-Fi 7 network and provides seamless coverage across my home. I also love that it supports Wi-Fi 6 features like 160 MHz channels, which really boost performance, and the Gigabit Ethernet port for my wired devices I needed in my office, is the best thing I have now. Overall, this was exactly what I needed—easy setup, strong signal, and the perfect solution for a room without Ethernet access. Highly recommended!

A good product I would buy again
Pretty easy setup. Only took me a few minutes. Now. It works great in my backyard pulling my Wi-Fi out into the patio. I have it inside a shed, so I don't have to test whether the weather would mess it up. I have purchased other extenders, and they stunk. Pleased to finally find one that was both relatively cheap and functional and easy to set up. Would buy again.

Good quality at a good price.
I'm very happy with the performance of this wi-fi extender. It provides Wi-Fi extension from my office about 15 m away to the center of our hallway which then extends Wi-Fi throughout the house. It has a good signal the app is easy to use and install. The various features and ability to monitor and configure from the app are a bonus.

Revitalized My Network
I had a dead zone in my upstairs bedroom. Now that I installed the TP-Link RE815X AX5400 WiFi 6 Range Extender, the dead zone is gone. The instructions using the TP Link App which I installed on my phone were easy to follow. Pretty much plug and play. I have AT&T fiber with their WiFi 6 Router. The RE815X was compatible and had no problems connecting to my network. After plugging it in next to my router and waiting approximately 2 minutes, all the lights turned solid indicating a good connection. I then unplugged it and relocated the extender to my upstairs bedroom. The lights once again turned solid blue. I checked the app for signal strength and it showed high signal strength and a good location. Now my upstairs no longer has any dead zones.

Outdoor camera signal and more.
This range extender has been amazing for our home. We got it to improve signal for our outdoor cameras which were placed on a detached garage. We placed it in an upstairs bedroom, and it immediately improved coverage everywhere. Every device in our house connected great, including phones, laptops, TVs, smart home devices, cameras. You do need to manually go in select the extender and put in your regular Wi-Fi password to connect which was easy. What really impressed us is that it even reached our finished basement, which always struggled with weak signal before. Since installing this extender, the connection has been fast and reliable throughout the entire house with no dead zones. Setup was EASY, and once it was running, it just worked without any issues now been several months; and we’ve gone through more than one power outage without issue of it turning back on and working without any intervention on our end. For the performance and coverage it provides, this extender is well worth it. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to boost WiFi coverage in a multi level home.

WiFi Extenders Can Work!
You’ll read a lot of bad things about WiFi extenders, but this one is different. I originally started my journey with a TP-Link CPE710 (a large antenna like contraption) that was overkill for my situation. It started acting up after 5 months but worked flawlessly, when it worked. I have a detached garage that is about 75 feet from my house. The corner of my house has an access point with one of these devices (Ethernet hard-wired into it). I purchased a second one of these to extend that WiFi into my garage. Without the extender, I was getting 15-25 mbps in my detached garage. After hooking up this device and connecting to the to house WiFi, I was getting over 200 mbps in the detached garage. This is similar to what I was getting with the CPE710, if not better. They key is to have this device in a spot where it can have clear connection to the source. In my case, it is sitting in the window of my detached garage, facing the house. Don’t believe all the negatives about WiFi extenders. In the right situation, they can really make a difference!

Works Well, but not very secure!
Purchased this item after upgrading my home internet/TV from coaxial connection to wireless. Since my router was in an upstairs room, it had problems connecting to the TV in the basement on the opposite side of the house. This extender was a recommended and was delivered over night. The reason it only gets 3 stars? It was difficult to connect to my network. The simplest way didn't work and having to add an app, join, have a password, register etc. was too much. The other reason is that this gets plugged into an electrical outlet. It DOES NOT fit well. It's a bit top heavy and doesn't hold in the outlet very well. If it's in a location where it can be touched or accidentally contacted, it will fall out of the outlet. I may have to use a zip tie and somehow secure it. You should not have to do this when you spend $100 for a product that was designed for that application. One a good note, it worked very well once installed. My basement TV was able to connect without any issues!
