These where great Christmas gifts, kids love they and they have help the test of time with twin 6 year old boys.

So Santa brought these guns to my late 80’s dad and his housemate cousin along with an electronic moving target. In California, these are literally the closest replica guns that Amazon will sell regardless if they are foam bullets or have a neon pink plastic body…it’s a no go! Despite this, fun was had. Liked that the bullet ejection was powerful enough to knock down a target. We tossed the eggs, too juvenile for our purposes. The main complaint was the need to cock and load prior to every shot, other than that a retrieval net in the back would have been helpful but they managed! The accompanying pic illustrates the joy that thinking outside the box for folk who have everything can bring. Hope our fun gives a bit of inspiration to your gifting.

X-shot are, in general, a much cheaper option vs. other foam dart shooter manufacturers, like Nerf. They provide more extras, like ammunition and the dinosaur targets, for a fraction of the cost. The guns are really nicely designed, bright and vibrant, with lots of nice features such as ammo storage on the top. These pistols in particular are powerful given their size (much more so than similar Nerf pistols) and are one of the most reliably accurate models we have (we have about 7 different models!) Would recommend X-shot every time
