Fits my 2004 Ford Explorer XLT 4-Door. BUT!!! I had to modify it to fit properly. This product is the catch all double din mount. I had to grind off nearly all the little plastic tabs to make it fit. Luckily I had a Dremel but you easily use wire cutters. It gives you a manual and shows you what tabs and extra plastic parts to cut to fit certain cars and it was accurate for my car. Took me about 30min tops!

I installed a Sony XAV-AX4000 7-Inch Multimedia Receiver into my 2007 F350. This dash kit is made for several model vehicles. It has tabs that need to be broken off to fit your car. The only complaint was the instructions wasn't clear on breaking off the front tabs. You need part of the front tab to lock into the face panel. The front tabs should be cut off - not broke off. You need to leave the clips to hold the face panel. Other than that, the product was great.

Will not fit a single din head unit. It is Way too small. Stay away. Total trash

Many others have commented the fitment issues of single DIN radios. If you're installing a double DIN, well I don't know what the size requirement of those are and it may fit but definitely doesn't fit a typical single DIN radio as is. The installation kit did however fit in a 2007 Focus, just couldn't fit the radio into the installation kit in stock form. The opening with the pocket (For single DIN) is 6 3/4" X 1 7/8" on this installation kit (Both face plates have the same size openings). I've installed dozens of single DIN radios and it seems the most common size is 7 1/8" X 2 1/16". This is what the install sleeve measures, not the radio itself. In my research online it appears this is my only option for the 2007 Focus, short of breaking out the fiberglass materials and building my own. I thought about going to my local car audio store (Sound connection) but if they even had something I'm sure it would be expensive. So I modified the faceplate of this installation kit. I took pictures in the hope of posting those here but I don't see an option to upload photos. Basically if you don't use the 'sleeve' on the radio and just install the radio in there raw, the height is ok, you just have to trim 1/8" of plastic on each side of the faceplate to make the opening bigger (7") then the radio sill slide in. Then you will get some short screws that will screw into the side of the radio and either the slots on the side of the install kit line up with your radios screw holes or you make new holes and screw the side plates to the radio and viola, it fits. The way I trimmed the plastic without breaking anything was using a cutting wheel with my rotozip. Basically the same thing as dremel tool. I measured 1/8" on each side and put tape along each side to mark my cutting path. I took my time, and was careful so I didn't break anything (Another reviewer mentioned they'd broken theirs trying to modify it). In doing it this way I don't see it being a problem. It was an easy modification. The install is clean and no one will ever know that I had to modify the plate to make this fit. So in summary, because this can be modified and there doesn't appear to be a direct fit solution without mods, I recommend buying this and doing the mods.

Installation went smoother than expected. The flexibility of the cable made it easy to run through conduit and around corners without kinking. While trying to install the cable I realized it was very smooth and easy to pull out, this cable does not kink. Was able to connect it from throughout the house and the cable is durable and affordable. I will be buying more.

First thing I need to say; All the dash kits available for my 06 F350 are pretty much the same. Things to note; it's all abs plastic, even the mounts that hold the stereo to the dash. It has multiple configurations, like single din w/pocket, double din etc. It has to be assembled, usually just clipping cheap plastic pieces together. Other issues; This only works with standard 1 or 2 din radios. I'm installing an Android stereo and the stereo face is to big for this kit, but to small for the dash opening. I'm going to have to dremel a good amount of the inner opening to make it fit. This is my 2nd android head unit installation and both are the same way. Besides the things listed above, the completeness of this kit is nice. I just wish the actual mounts for the stereo to the inner dash where not all plastic.

This kit is complicated when you first open it, but with all the models it fits it just takes a little imagination to see which parts you will need. Once you see how you need to configure it it is a piece of cake. It takes a little trimming of unnecessary tabs that you will not need for you installation. That took about 10 minutes with my Dremel, from there it was smooth sailing and a perfect fit that looks like my HU was made for my truck. Very sharp look for sure. I've been installing my own stereo equipment for about 40 years and this is one of the best installation kits I have used. I don't see how you can go wrong with this kit.

Garbage doesn't fit looks horrible, 1/4 inch gap all the way around i would return it but I had to clip the extra tabs to install just save your money and don't get this for s f150 regardless of what fitment guides say spend the extra $5 update it was $13 more for s perfect fit from meta on Amazon not 5

I dont mind the build honestly. Simple, multiple trim options dependant on your vehicle (mine was 07 f150) My only grip is the storage piece will be flush on only 1 trim piece of the 3 included in the pack. It looks professional if your truck takes the right trim, but my OCD doesnt like the fact my stereo install kit doesnt sit flatly flush on my dash, but i'll adjust.
