Must read for football/soccer connoisseurs.
Interesting read. Though I would have liked a little more insight into that famous 'cool as a cucumber' mind of his, and also some interesting anecdotes from his personal life.Bought this just before he was announced as the new coach of Juve. Pretty sure, he'll have more interesting facts to share after this coaching experience. Inspite of its drawbacks, a must read for connoisseurs, who realises who this guy was to world football during his time.

Good read for fans of The Maestro
Amazing book. Love his funny stories. Only thing it ends to soon. I hope a second book is in the works.

Yes, play, but don't write a book
It was a little disappointing, I felt.Very short book. And not much depth.A few nice bits, like when they talk about the pain of the champions league final loss to Liverpool, and a little about Italy duty.I really, really, really thought this would be a wonderful, insightful book. It was mostly pirlo swearing at something or the other. Not really worth reading.

Great player. Great story. Fun read.
A friend turned me on to this story. All of my kids are soccer players and I wanted to find something fun and inspirational for them. After previewing a few chapters, I decided to turn this book into family reading at night before bed. Two chapters a night. Except for one small paragraph, it is mostly family friendly. Just a few salty words in context. Andrea Pirlo is a player that didn't look like any other player on the pitch. For a man of such talent and success, he is humble, thoughtful and humorous in the telling of his story (especially as it relates to his good friend Gennaro Gattuso). Since my kids are younger, we followed up the readings with some videos online of Pirlo, Gattuso, Nesta and a few others mentioned to really bring a visual to the story. You don't have to be a Pirlo fan to enjoy this story. But you probably will be when you are done.

A must for football die hards
The words flow poetically, just begging for more to consume. Hope he does a follow up in 10 years about his retirement and managerial career, which ironically he swore off doing in this book
