I bought this heat gun to help dry the varnish on canes that I hand-craft. It has also been helpful to dry the liquid latex handles. This means I can keep making canes even if it's winter. Good handy tool, just be careful not to burn yourself! It DOES get hot.

I’m returning today as when I opened the box and plugged in the heat gun, it didn’t get hot. It’s warm and I let it run for more than 10 minutes. I tried adjusting the High/low temperature dial and it made no difference. It’s barely warm and and doesn’t get any hotter. Disappointed but I’ll return and try for a different manufacturer. 😡

This is a great choice to buy a hot air gun to repair the car. It easily restored where the car was recessed, removing wrinkles from the seat and coloring the car. Now the car look like new. A great tool, I will recommend to my friends.

I was disappointed with the temperature. I bought this gun as most powerful (1800W) in the category. Advertised temperature should be more than 500C but I doubt it generates more than 300C. Now ordering another model.

Two days after the return window closed it burned out and no longer works. I think I used maybe a half dozen times over the course of about 30 days from the time that I got it.
