As my title suggests, this soap really felt soft, smooth and gentle on my skin. I ordered two of these, a neem one and a sandalwood one. My review is largely identical for both and I am writing this after having used both bars. For comparison, my go-to soap for very long has been Mysore sandal, so I'm somewhat benchmarking this against that. In summary, really nice soap bars that are gentle on your skin and moisturizing, but I am unsure about the claims of exfoliation and detan, and do not like the longevity of a bar. Go for it if you don't mind replenishing it a bit more frequently than your average bar, and if you don't mind spending this much. I have also used soaps from a company called Palmer's which I really liked, but I can't seem to find them anymore from local sellers on Amazon. They used to cost about the same but had better durability. Here's what I liked: 1. The feel is hands down the best. It's very smooth, gentle, and moisturizes skin very well. Where I live the water is very hard and tends to dry skin out a lot, so this soap definitely helped. 2. For people with sensitive skin like mine, the lack of harshness in this soap will surely prove beneficial. It has a soft kind of moisturizing effect which is not too aggressive like say, Dove or Pears and doesn't leave your body feeling sort of sticky afterwards. 3. The fragrance is very nice! It's not overpowering and doesn't hit you in the nose hard like some other soaps do and leave your clothes smelling like them for a while. This one has a mild and subtle fragrance that will stay on your body for a decent time. It also lathers nicely unlike some other soaps that barely foam. 4. As for the claims of exfoliation and detan, I am a bit sceptical about that. I mean, the soap does have those natural bits like seeds and husks and what not that are midly abrasive, but the effect is not that noticeable. I'm also unsure of it's detan abilities as I personally didn't feel a difference. Here's what I didn't like: 1. Another thing that I mentioned in my review title, it's expensive. This is also a reason I didn't give it full five stars. I understand that the organic nature of making the soap, the quality of ingredients, and the artisanal/handmade aspect are the main factors behind the price, but at the end it's a soap and I cannot envision people normally spending this much on a consumable item, which is tied to my second point, 2. Which is that it doesn't last long. Here, your mileage may vary as the durability or longevity of soap will depend on how much you use and also with the hardness of water, but it didn't really last that long for me, just slightly between 15-20 days. For contrast, Mysore sandal soap bars last a bit longer than that for me and they are cheaper, albeit I do admit not as nice in feeling and moisturization. 3. The bars are also somewhat flimsy and chunks fall off regularly, leading to more wastage and loss in volume.

I bought Neem soap after using a good moisturising soap for ages thought this would be a good chemical free option but this soap dried out my skin extremely i have normal skin not oily not dry but after first use itself this dried out my skin to such an extent that it became very itchy had to buy a body moisturiser to feel better..I might try other variant to see if they are better

Packaging was good and soap arrived in good condition. The scent is very herbal and fresh. While applying soap doesn't feel harsh on skin and leaves skin smooth as well. Although it didn't really hydrate my skin and doesn't look promising about fixing hyperpigmentation (results may show in future). But I will say it is a better alternative to regular soap bars as it uses natural ingredients, it is just slightly overpriced for a soap bar.

There was no reaction on first time application. Also the smell of natural ingredients like neen and tulsi was very good. Also my skin was not dry with this soap. Definately a recomended product
