Good fragrance-free shampoo. Mix with water to increase sudsiness.
I'd been searching store aisles for a gentle, fragrance-free shampoo in a convenient pump bottle and was having trouble finding something to suit my needs, so I was very glad to find Jason Fragrance-Free Shampoo through Amazon at a reasonable price.• TIP: To help make it sudsier, squirt some shampoo into a little plastic cup or jar, add a couple ounces of warm water, and either shake it or mix it with your finger. Doing so will really help make it foam up. It's not the "sudsiest" shampoo on the market, but I'm guessing that's one of the reasons that it is a gentle shampoo. (Maybe the typical sudsing agents in other shampoos make the product harsher on your hair? I dunno, but it seems possible.) Also, that will make the shampoo last a lot longer, so you will save money, too.If you add water, you'll find that you don't really need that much shampoo to get your hair clean. I do the same thing with conditioner.***Added Comment 2/24/18 after purchasing again: PACKAGING FEEDBACK: It's good thing that the shampoo/conditioner arrived in a sealed plastic bag, but it would be even BETTER if there was a little "stopper clip" on the stem of the pump bottle because during the shipping process, some of the product did squirt out inside the bag. So the bottle was all gooky when I opened it. (I'm talking about the little snap-on plastic clips that often come with pump bottles of lotion and shampoo.I will still give the product 5 stars because it's so hard to find Fragrance-Free Shampoos and Conditioners on store shelves.

Clean hair without heavy scents
This is by far the best shampoo I've used ever. I have thin fine hair and most shampoo weighs my hair down with added chemicals and ingredients I probably don't need. This shampoo cleans my hair gently, it gives my hair really good body. I don't find myself having to wash my hair everyday now. Since being ill in 2020, I became very sensitive to scents that I had never been sensitive to before. I could actually smell the chemicals added to my favorite shampoo and they made me nauseated. This goes for body soap, clothing soap, lotions, conditioners, cosmetics, air freshener and even food. I've gone full unscented in most body care products. Jason unscented shampoo is what I'll be using from now on.

It's ok and scent free enough.
I received the old version last time I ordered this. This time I ordered it, it came in a new bottle and said it was a new formula. I haven't noticed a difference in performance, but noticed a huge difference in consistency. The old one was like a gel, and it was really hard to keep the gel on my hands while I smushed it up to get it to not just fall back off my hands before I could get to to my hair/body/scrubbie/whatever. I like this far better. I was wasting too much because of the gel consistency. This is now much more like regular shampoo--hard to describe, but hopefully you know what I mean.Overall, this is not the best shampoo, but it basically does the job. I am chemically sensitive, so I've had a hard time finding shampoo that is safe for me (scent free) and afordable. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Safe Choice Shampoo, but it's at least three times more expensive. I simply don't have that kind of money. This shampoo does have a little scent which was too much for me a few years ago, but now I seem to basically handle it, so I switched. I don't like it nearly as much as Safe Choice. But this shampoo, such as it is, is at least less watery than the other fragrance free shampoos I've found here and at Whole Foods. I really wonder if they water their shampoos down to make it seem like they are less expensive than they are, but this one doesn't do that. It's a fair price for a fair shampoo. If you have the money, I'd recommend Safe Choice, but if you can handle this one scent-wise, this will do.Oh, the main reasons like Safe Choice better is that Safe Choice is more concentrated (not enough to make it worth the extra cost though), gets your hair cleaner, and doesn't leave a residue in the bathtub, which makes cleaning the tub/shower really easy, especially since it can be used as a body wash also. Safe Choice is also really scent free in that I know many chemically sensitive people who can only use that shampoo. Most all shampoos that say they are scent free, are not by far!! This one is not all that scent free and I do react to it a bit, but not enough to be a problem at this point, gratefully. Individual tolerances will vary, but this is not one of the safest out there.
