Saranac, Paul Smiths: Adirondack Park Map (National Geographic Trails Illustrated Map, 746)

Maps are nice. We bought for our vacations we take in Tupper lake for the trails and mountains.

the best map you can get that covers the adirondack park. my only complain is that it requires two maps to cover the surrounding area of lake placid, the major tourist hub. ADK used to include a very high quality map in its "High Peak Trails", but no longer so in its latest editions.

Nice distance references on trails.

The Map is very informative and Very Clear to read, I have two maps and going to order more. One very important fact is it's great instead of paper. Paper gets wet out bush whacking as in earlier years.

A must have for hiking in the area! The trail book that goes with it is useful to have as well.

Cuts off an area right right I wanted to see. For example it cuts off at the Debar Mt. Leanto without showing the very end of the trail to the mountain. You have to flip back and forth to each side to see the complete trail. Very poorly done. Might be ok for kayaking/canoeing I the St. Regis area but not for hikers.

Great map from what I can tell. Stinks that they split lake placid in half but o well.

great map good size, plasticy so water won't mess with it but i'd be careful near any fires.
