I'm interested in the shoulder unit but would also like to know if i could purchase attachments for the knee as well?

I know there is a "knee specific" attachment that can be purchased with the entire unit, though I personally used the "back" attachment for my knee. Worked well.

Does the machine provide cooling and compression? Or does this only provide cooling?

Just cooling. It has Velcro straps to keep it in place on your shoulder. Cold water is pumped through the tubes and into the pad but it doesn’t compress.

We have the shoulder unit and i love the system. however, i'm struggling with the connections to the hoses. any tips? they are so close together! ugh

They were very difficult to snap together, but persisting and pushing hard, they always eventually clicked tight, and never leaked. The unit definitely made my recovery from surgery MUCH better, faster.
