Great customer support
My package arrived with a large hole in the outer box. I found that one box of C-Clamps was missing from the box. I contacted customer support and within minutes a new box of C-clamps was on my way. This was perhaps one of the best customer support experiences i have hade. The rack it self was extremely easy to assemble and I was able to to so in about 5 minutes. Great product.

Truck Rack
Easily assembled, sturdy product. We were unable to attach under tool box as described was possible, tool box too large We permanently bolted to truck behind the toolbox. We needed to use a c clamp to secure the J Rack as the carriage bolts were too short and the piece to hold in place was not moldable.

Dollar for Dollar, you can't beat it!
Have had many truck racks over the years. From top dollar to discount models, I have tried many of them. However, this year I needed a quick easy kayak rack for my 1 ton dually. I could have spent any amount on one but I figured I wouldn't use it that much so I wanted to get an inexpensive one that was quick and easy to put on and remove. This rack by AA surprised me. No only was it on the lower price range but was almost as good as the ones I paid $1000 for. Quick and easy to assemble and holds the boats very well. The best thing, due to a freight company error, I had use their customer service. GREAT is not a good enough word to describe it. By all means, if you want a good rack for little money, this is the rack for you!

Good for the price
I have a Honda Ridgeline. Nothing fits on it except crazy $1800 kayak racks that I would never buy, or roof racks that seem impractical for holding kayaks and are also stupid expensive. This seemed solid enough for the price. It came missing the clamps, but that didn't matter because they wouldn't have worked on my truck anyway. The only way to mount this was to drill it in, so thats what I did and it is holding solid so far. I can hang off of either bar and I weigh 180, so it seems super solid. I did do some extra painting and sealing to avoid rust on the future since I had some black Rust-Oleum on hand. I haven't used the kayak cradles yet, but honestly I'm not sure I ever will as I have a sit on top and can just strap to the bars through the scup holes.

*Easy to assemble and does the job well!
Installed this rack in my 2018 F-150 short bed (5-1/2ft) and works great. I’m a female in my early 40’s and put this together myself in about 2 hours. Comes in a large box with all rack bars wrapped in bubble wrap. Saddles are each individually boxed with their own hardware.Comes with hardware to either drill into your bed rail or clamp for non-drill option. I went with the clamps/non-drill and they are very sturdy! The saddles go on and come off pretty easily too.I found it easiest to load the kayaks by pulling it into the bed then slide up onto the front saddle and push forward till the back clears the bar. Then you can set into the back saddle and slide backwards into place until centered. Comes with two different style tie downs; ratchet straps or pully straps (which I used the pully straps but they don’t seem as reliable as ratchet straps).*helpful hint: you can’t go through a drive-thru with kayaks loaded as they are too tall. I can make it in and out of our garage (we have 8ft doors) with just the rack but not with the saddles attached.I am very pleased with this rack.

Heavy duty.
I think this is a great rack. They give you all hardware for bolting to the truck or using clamps. I will end up bolting it on in time for more security.Only issue I have is the j racks won't stay in place when loading 11.5 lifetime Yukon kayaks. They want to roll over. It is easily rectified when you get in the truck to strap them down however. They stay in place when strapped. It is quite a reach to place them on a f150 4x4 so I made a pole to hook into the bow or stern handle of the yack to lift it. Works fine. Very sturdy, will be able to haul lumber and ladders when not being used for yacks.

The J Racks are junk
The truck rack it's self is very nice. Well packaged. Installed on the 2019 Ram using the bolt on method. Love it. The J Racks included are junk. The long carriage bolts shown which are used to bolt the lower flange and secure to the bars are not even long enough. Definitely not the same as the images. about 1" to short. So the only way to use the finger thread bolt was to squeeze the lower bracket with channel-locks to make enough thread to grab. Once on, they are loose and flimsy. So in short, the J Racks will hit the trash and will be replace with something of quality. These don't fold down either. and due to the lack of threads holding them on, I can't even loosen them and swing them under the bars to get into the garage. But,, made in china ya get what ya pay for.the rack is great though!
