LibreOffice 5.0 Getting Started Guide

I think I'm going to like this one a lot. I purchased it for my Python library. I looked through it and read parts here and there. I know I'm going to like this one. It's a good all around start and reference for LibreOffice.

I use the book as a reference when I need to know a feature of Calc. So far it has worked for this. The book does not have an index. Having an index would make the book easier to use.

There was not an index in this manuel. I have not found what I was looking for. I just need to take the time to try to figure out how to use this program.

Excellent book. Tells how to use LibreOffice in brief detailed descriptions, which seemed enough for me.

Product was in excellent condition and shipped promptly. Very satisfied with everything. A1 all the way.

I found the book very complicated with possibly TOO MANY instructions. You have to keep going back after a "note" or "Tip" or"caution". It would be most helpful for people such as older people, if you published a simplified version . And then if they wanted the full version they could "graduate to it, after having learnt the basicsDanny Stupple : Email [email protected]

LibreOffice 5.0 Getting Started Guide The book lives up to its title in that it gets you started on the various modules of LibreOffice 5.0. However, it doesn't go any further than that, so if you are looking for more advanced information, look elsewhere. The information here is similar to the on-line help.The book lacks an index, which to me is important for a book of this type. I reject their weak excuses as to why there is no index.On the plus side, the print is large and clear, with many diagrams, so it is suitable for an absolute beginner in office software.I would have liked something a bit more advanced, however, there doesn't seem to be much in book form of this type.
