I use it as both a portable bedside table and as a stepstool. It stores under the bed. It's very attractive and sturdy, and easy to put together. So glad I got it.

Easy to assemble. I did use a power tool rather than the provided screwdriver. It's perfect for my book nook to reach the higher shelves.

I purchased this to use as a footrest, for which I’m glad. It’s pretty small (see the listing measurements), and looks like it would be a great step stool for children (size-wise), but it’s very unstable. Not a big issue for me and my purpose, but I highly recommend against anyone ever putting weight on it and using it as it’s labeled, and especially allowing children to use it.As a foot rest, it’s fine. Inexpensive, nice looking and quick & easy to assemble (I’m not sure it took me a full five minutes from unboxing to completion), with the necessary screw driver included. However, no matter how much I tighten the screws holding the legs to the top platform, I can’t get the legs tight enough to get rid of a little wobble between them and the top.

We had a "mysterious disappance" of a 3 legged milk stool from early 1900s. The 3 legged stools I found online were strictly for decorative use and wouldn't support a person. Since the stool would be well used, I purchased this one. It is very sturdy and light enough to move from garage, to yard, to kitchen, etc.Would consider buying another one.

I sit on a bench to put on & take off my shoes. The 10" stool is a perfect height. It is gorgeous bamboo!
