Blackout Curtains that WORK
I have been looking for the Eclipse Blackout curtains in the light purple color for a while. I specifically needed the 95 inch length to complete the color scheme in my daughter’s room. Amazon was the only place I was able to find them. The Eclipse Blackout curtains really blocks out sunlight from the outside. I have attached pictures so that you can see what the room looks like with the curtains opened and closed during the day. When removing them from the packaging, they do have a lot of folds and creases in them. I ironed each curtain because I wanted them to have a crisp appearance. The curtains were easy to install. I appreciate that they don’t get caught on the curtain rod when taking them on and off. I have not washed them yet so I can’t provide feedback on how well they hold up after washing at the moment. The light purple color is very beautiful and the curtains have a smooth yet sturdy feel to them. The curtains aren’t heavy when you hang them individually, but I do have a total of six curtains up which has a decent weight to them overall. It’s not too heavy or light. I’m satisfied and would recommend these curtains to anyone looking for quality and functionality.

Perfect for my specific use - a wide but short window.
This blackout curtain is a perfect fit for my wide windows... 42 inches x 84 inches, single-panel light blocking... I live in an apartment with a window that is 75 in wide x 36 in tall. So... how did I use this single panel curtain to cover my window? Well, both top and bottom of the Eclipse Kendall curtain have open pockets of identical size for a curtain rod, meaning there is no difference between top and bottom. So I folded the panel in half, sliced it directly across the middle, making two separate 42" x 42" panels out of the single tall one. Then I ran the curtain rod through the "top" and "bottom" pockets of each half. So anyone seeking a curtain for their short height, but very wide window, this method worked perfectly. The material is not soft, but still looks nice in my home. The sage color compliments my light-teal painted walls well. The "eclipse" blackout lining completely block the light. It provides privacy and helps keep out the cold.

not a total blackout, but they do keep heat at bay
These have some reasonably impressive blackout powers, even though I got the turquoise color and I didn't expect much from them. Even just one panel does a pretty decent job in my opinion; I don't mind seeing light around the edges, I'm just trying to keep out heat, and they do that very well. If I ever want more, definitely opting for this brand again.

Good blackout, nice color, a bit stiff and plastic-y
Overall I'm happy with these. I bought Ruby and it looks slightly more pinkish-red than the pics, but still very pretty. These have a white* thermal lining, which I wanted, not the black lining of most "blackout" curtains available on Amazon these days (I've tried several!). And they're not super-super heavy like all the other "blackout" curtains I've tried lately that are "3 layers" woven with the heavy black lining. These seem to be doing a very good job blocking light and heat (I need the heat reflection properties most). Although these are not supposed to be 100% blackout, they're more blackout than the so-called 100% blackout curtains I've tried recently. I'm not using them in the bedroom (where I do NEED 100% blackout), so don't need 100%, but I think these would likely work in the bedroom. The length seems accurate, though I haven't unpackaged and hung them all yet to double check that they are all the right length. Did not notice any stitching/construction problems/irregularities (again, haven't yet looked at all of the panels I ordered). There's no awful chemical smell, even with the curtains getting very hot hanging on a very sunny south-facing window. Those are all problems I've been having with other so-called blackout curtains I've been trying that I'm NOT having with these, which seems miraculous. They were also quite inexpensive. My only real concern is trying to wash these because of the stiff, plastic-y material (especially the "foam" thermal liner backing). I've had similar thermal-backed Eclipse curtains over the years, and even though they are supposedly washable/dryable, sometimes they have kind of fallen apart when washed (bits of lining comes off) or the lining sticks to itself... so, I may not try to wash them (that goes against my nature!). They are quite wrinkled, even after hanging for a few days, so I might try to steam them rather than risk washer (cold) and/or dryer (low) for wrinkles. These are definitely not gorgeous, soft, flowy curtains, but no blackout curtain is. They do have some nice texture and are matte-finished, unlike all the weird plain super smooth and "shiny" blackout curtains I've tried during my search over the past couple of months. And these Ruby curtains are much nicer looking than most of the drab or weird-looking grey/beige/brown blackout curtains commonly available online. *[Update note: after opening my remaining panels--all are Ruby red, I discovered the white thermal back lining is actually slightly pink on some of them, though it does not at all look like these were previously used/washed. I'm not sure why/how the white lining turned a bit pink. I'd prefer the backs were all really white for better heat reflection, but hope these slightly pink ones will still work well.]

Great quality for price!
Great rod pocket black out curtains that were so easy to install! They block out light so I can sleep during the day with ease. They also help to block out cold air in the winter and with their white backings deflect heat in the summer. The price was great for the quality of the product as well.

Okay for the Price/Not Black Out
With no other window treatments, these are definitely not a blackout shade. Will keep because once we put up our blinds, the combination should help a lot with the light. But if you are solely using curtains and want a near blackout effect, can’t recommend for that. I do think the curtains are decent for the price and appreciate the simplicity plus wide range of colors. Yes the curtains feel more plastic-y but that’s not uncommon for blackout curtains in a lower price range. We do have blackout curtains that are thicker, nicer feeling and look better. These are okay.

Perfect length. I bought the turquoise ones. A wee bit heavier than expected, but it’s okay. I am hanging them by my laundry area, using them like a door. Fits perfectly over my curtain rod.

I absolutely loved these Eclipse Kids Kendall blackout curtains. The quality is excellent, the fabric feels sturdy yet soft, and the raspberry color is vibrant and elegant. The size is just right, and they do a great job at blocking light and providing privacy. They’re also easy to install and maintain, which is why I ended up buying them three times. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for stylish and thermal blackout curtains.
