First off the main reason i bought this was to disable the mds on my 13 ram.it sucks.i hate it.i live in the mountains of va and push 35's.the truck has power but not with the mds on and off all the time. If your buying this to make your ram 1500 a hellcat..its NOT gonna happen.Ive had multible programmers.one on almost every vehicle ive ever had.diesel or gas.naturally aspriated or not.this ones design is ok.nothing glorious.but fits the price and straight foward navigation.the built in wifi works good provided your rigjt on top of the router..YOU WILL NEED A COMPUTER TO UPDATE.much quicker then by wifi.30 minutes quicker.update it completley.useally 2 or 3x.unplug amd plug it back up.Let me emphasize this next part..MAKE SURE YOUR BATTERY IS NOT A POS AND FULLY CHARGED..When uploading the first time in your vehicle.it will calibrate and adjust pcm..that takes like 20 minutes.then after you select file upload it will back up your pcm and factory setting.that takes every bit of 30 minutes.then you can select tune and make adjustmets such as mds cutoff,traction control,throttle boost,spark and fuel adjustment,timeing,tire size etc. The tune upload is fairly quick.bout 5 min.if your battery goes dead while any of the above.i assure you it will not be a good day.As far as choosing between this or a trinity..this is close to 150 cheaper.does the exact same thing tune wise just without the ability to moniter gauges and that dyno and 0-60 crap.The pre loaded tunes are ok.nothing special.the ability to cutoff the mds and adjust throttle was reason i bought it.trouble code reader works nicely and the ability to upload custom tunes from someone is nice as well.its not a turd but its not efi live brand either...which doesnt exist for a 1500!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have a 2014 Charger RT with the 5.7. I updated the unit on my laptop using the USB cable. The update was pretty simple but took a while to do. Once the update was done I went directly to install in the car.There actually be two installs for the programming. The first takes about 30 minutes and this is where it overwrites the stock tune. The second will be the actual performance tune.I went straight to the Diablo tune first and tried it out. There was a noticeable difference in response and how well it pulled. I went back and modified the Diablo with a 14% increase in Throttle Boost and increased the Shift Firmness. Huuuge difference. I already had a Cold Air Intake, BBK 85mm throttle body, and a full cat back exhaust with glass packs. She pulls pretty damn hard now as you can hear in the video. I can punch it from about 20 and it will squeal the tires.The Hemi Fever will be next.

Sure you can get your car dyno tuned, but some people might not have the money, or time.. This product is very easy to use, it's common sense oriented which I love. Easy easy horsepower, and the pre-loaded tunes are amazing, and everything you can ask for. You can also modify the pre-loaded tunes. Throttle boosters, shift points, transmission modifications, spark plug temps, CAI and Exhaust, and probably much more. MAKE SURE TO KEEP IT UPDATED!!! I'm sick of seeing bad reviews because people don't update their tuner, and then get mad when it won't work. For the first time, you will need to go back and forth from your car, to your computer a few times. Don't worry, it's worth it!

Turned my boring 300s into a monster, but you must have supported modifications to be able to unleash the power of the all mighty DIABLO!!! Custom headers, full exhaust, resonator deletes, 44 magnaflow muffler, k&n cal etc.If your unit crashes send it back for a manual update!!!!! Also measure your tires not the rim size for accurate speedometer readings. If you guys need help with your Diablos contact the company directly.

This is a very powerful tool. I'm happy I get to live in a world where more horsepower, fuel efficiency, easier towing, etc. are literally at my fingertips. I got this for the custom tuning ability as I had added long tube headers, CAI, ported throttle body, and some other small things to my 2012 Ram Express but needed a tune for the headers. Man! I've never had such a slap in the face with a power adder before. It really feels like the chains have come off and my truck grew a pair! Just the torque alone makes it feel like I put a high lift performance camshaft in it. Feeling my truck rev to 6,000 rpm's and still have more to give is a rush! My advice, take your time to learn as much as you can about this BEFORE you start pushing all the buttons and turning everything up to max. With my application, max is definitely not the sweet spot. My truck just acts pissed off and hard to drive when tuned all out. Read the instructions, be patient, go on forums, ask questions about your specific ride. Treat this thing with an ounce of respect. It'll pay off.

2013 Charger pursuit 5.7 and 2014 Charger pursuit 5.7Programmer crashed the first time while programming the car. Car was completely disabled for hours until I could get it going again. Programmer crashed again later but was able to recover itself. When I finally did get it going, programs are not very noticeable. You will NOT pick up 2 tenths in the quarter mile if that's what you're hoping for. You wouldn't notice it if you didn't know it was there. Disabling traction control lights up all the dash lights including the "Brake" and "ABS" lights, but even then, traction control is still active! I've had at least 10 vehicles with programmers over the last 15 years, and I can honestly say that this is the worst POS I've ever purchased. I honestly cannot believe Diablo would put their name on it. Don't waste your money.
